Because they picture you as someone who's trying to pick them up and get somehow romantically involved, it's a natural thought for them. They don't picture you as a normal friend who just wants to hang out with them.

At least that's what I'm thinking. Either way, it sounds good if they follow the conversational path.

So here's the dreadful situation. You go in for the #-close and she tells you she has a boyfriend. What do you do? PUA: Hey I have to go. Let's hang out again sometime. What's your phone number? HB: Oh, I have a boyfriend. PUA: That's fine, he can come hang out with us too. It will be fun. HB: But I don't want you to feel like a third wheel... PUA: Oh no. It's like a tricycle! I'm the lead wheel and you follow behind. You can hold his hand, but you can't hold mine. What do you guys think? I just came up with it while I was working. It offers her to spend time with you, gives comfort as you don't care about the boyfriend, she thinks you only want to be friends, and also makes her feel like she can't have you (you can hold his hand but not mine). Give me your opinions. NOT TESTED IN THE FIELD

Sounds good, except I can't imagine a girl saying "I don't want you to feel like a third wheel." But if a girl ever does say that, I'd say go for it.

Why wouldn't they? But anyways, that doesn't matter. If it comes up then somebody should try it. I think it would be charming.

Sorry Turbo, as a woman I have to agree with Quickdrawyall. If a guy was trying to game me (and trust me, we can tell) and then asked for my number, I would tell him I have a boyfriend. If he continued to say something like what you're planning, then I would just walk away, thinking he is an asshole who is trying to steal another man's woman. Sorry for being so blunt and no offence is intended but that's the way I would see it. Also, women know that a guys is trying to get romantically or even just sexually involved if they go for a number close. Seriously, why would a guy who we have just met want our phone number for any other reason? It's just the way that women think. We are not going to think "oh yeah he just wants to be friends with me". BUT like Quickdrawyall said, if she does happen to follow that conversational path, she can't be that into her boyfriend which is shown through inviting some random guy who she just met on dates with her boyfriend. And also, how is her boyfriend going to feel about this?? It would be weird and akward. But anyway if she does follow your script, then maybe it could be considered charming because I do see where you're coming from in the building comfort area. However, I just think it's pretty unlikely this is how the script would go.

Great way to add the push/pull into it. I'm going to remember this one and be sure to use it whenever the opportunity presents. Thanks for sharing! cheers and happy gaming

Anyway why would you post a routine that you've never tested or used? We can't tell you if it's any good or not. The only way you'll ever know is to go out and try it...
