Hey guys, was in the kitchen and I just figured this one out:
When is an ex your ex, and when as an ex "an ex" ?
What I mean to say. You can say about a girl "oh she's my ex". But you can also say "Oh that's an ex of mine".
I think to question this and then discuss it with a girl is a nice DHV discussion. Throughout the story you can DHV yourself pretty much without making it TOO obvious.
Also you can disagree with her and have a discussion:
If she says the ex you've been with longest you can say:
Well your first ex was "your ex" because that was the only one at the time. So the ones after her are "an ex".
If she says that then you can say:
Yes but if you were with your first ex a week and the second 2 years, you're not gonna call the first one YOUR ex and the second "an ex" right?
Any thoughts?
