First off, I’m pretty new to the game so feel free to provide feedback on this. I just learned a crafty method of executing high fives with flawless precision a few weeks ago. It’s simple, if both people look at each other’s elbows during said process instead of looking at each other’s hands; they will make perfect contact every time. Now, how does one slip this nugget of information into a routine? I’m not real sure. I tried schooling this HB8 on it the other night but she already knew the technique, so the element of surprise was blown. Still, we tested it together and it provided a few good laughs. Her friends saw us doing it and I got to teach it to them. Obviously it should be used in moderation. Not that it’s a deal closer or anything but I just thought I’d put it out there. What do you guys think? |

If you don't have trouble with your high fives, why would you even consider trying it one day? and if it ain't about the principle, why are you here playa? |

I get where you're going with this one, it's got potential I think but you have to sell it right. I'm fond of high fiving girls as a menial "reward" for things. It's simple, doesn't show you're trying move too quickly and allows for minor kino as well as showing her that she's winning you over (so to speak). The way you're initiating the routine is too direct and not fun/playful enough. Might I suggest this very simple neg/DHV combo... You: Alright, high five! she gives high five and even if it was a great high five begin with: You: What was that! that was a horrible high five (smile and laugh a bit). High fives are like an American past time! Let me guess, you don't know how to play baseball either do you!?!? Key is to keep it playful and not put her down. You: Here let me show you a little trick, when we raise our hands to high five, look at my elbow and not my hand, it works every time. Go for the high five again, this time she'll make good contact and smile. Then look at her and say something like, "alright, that's enough touching me for one night" with a wink or something playful like that. I'm gonna field test it tonight on a hired gun that I gamed last week. |

Bravo! Now THAT's how you sell a routine!

My pleasure. I used it and it worked flawlessly, got a good laugh out of the target and she even blushed when I told her "that's enough touching me for free for the night". Oddly enough (and I laughed hysterically at this) someone used this routine in Canberra, Australia...'fess up, who was it???? Here's the story: I go to a pub in Canberra and there's this really hot waitress/bistro worker who is helping us. She immediately flirts back with me because of my accent and my excessive use of the word "y'all". I get her back to my place and we're definitely in the comfort zone, building attraction and having a great time. I use the five lies game for the KC, she agree'd to the condition a mile away so I know she was hooked. However, as I reward her for winning a different game (with a high five) she says, "Hey, have you ever heard this trick!" and goes on with the same exact routine that I specified above. I played it off like I was learning something new from her and asked her where she learned it from and she just said that a random guy showed her that trick. Congrats to whoever pulled it off before me, you obviously made an impression! Glad I could help and this has become a routine that I've added to my arsenal. |

Thats not a bad idea. IMO you can easily use it as a major puzzle piece to a routine. Nice. |

I honestly dont use High fives as i beleive it gives the power to the HB as she has the power to reject you and leave you hanging. I prefer hugs trust me a hug is always better than a High 5 and you could turn it into a routine by saying like " i read once that if you look at each others elbows and go for a high five then its impossible to miss how odd is that..wait come here lets give it a go" |

[quote="griff_199"]I honestly dont use High fives as i beleive it gives the power to the HB as she has the power to reject you and leave you hanging. I see griff's point here... the high five does have its downfall. I don't know if I can explain this fully but I use this technique to 'tool' guys who invade my set. If they are attempting to impress the girls I say "that's awesome, high five man" and then I'll do a 'takeaway high five', there are several variations. 1.) Jellyfish: go to high five and at the last moment close your fingers together (so they're all pointing at the other person's hand) then pull them into your palm and continue this motion and float your hand away. Just say "jellyfish" and they're stuck there. -if they look disappointed you can pretend to offer a hug and "aw, sorry man" then you do a larger jellyfish with your arms while walking backwards. (watch where you're going) lol. 2.) Turkey: they go to high five and you close your hand into a sideways fist and stick your thumb out (their hand becomes the tail). Just say "turkey" and you've made a turkey out of them. There are others but you get the point. They're funny and creative. Delivery is important here, because they're goofy. Saroza |
