Hey, how are ya? Just saying hi and wanted to make sure all was well with you. Hey I wanted to say that I'm sorry we couldn't hang out more over the past months! I wanted to make sure you knew that I think you are an awesome person and I didn't want you to think that I didn't like hanging out with you or anything, graduate school is just crazy haha. I don't even have time to go out myself let alone hang out with anyone besides the people I live with, its sad! haha. But I don't like it when I can't hang out with friends and then never say anything about it, becuase its important to me that you know that it has NOTHING to do with you! So even tho I can't chill I wanted to make sure that you knew the deal and I hope we can still be friendly, cuz you are an awesome person! Hope all is well!

I got this message on facebook from a guy who I haven't seen in a year. I think it's a good idea to send messages to your targets and keep in touch to keep the push pull going on... The message itself is pretty (read: a lot) AFC, yes. It's just that it's good to keep in contact with possible targets if you think they're slipping away. You could DHV in a message like that by saying you've been busy with insert awesome things here but that you'd like to catch up sometime in person (so you get a date out of it).
