I call this one the Hey Arnold routine. Lead in: So I could ask you guys what your signs are or something, but I actually know the best way to get a good grip on someone’s personality. What was everyone’s favorite Nickelodeon show growing up? - I liked Hey Arnold. That show dealt with real shit. I mean, Stoop Kid? Agoraphobia. Chocolate Boy? Addiction, rehab, withdrawal, and relapse explained to a 10 year-old kid in 30 minutes. Who knows where I’d be now if it weren’t for that episode! - Hell, I think the reason kids today are so unfocused is because their TV shows are so dull and uninspired. Hannah Monatana doesn’t compare to Rugrats, it just doesn’t. And their video games! We had Mario, that game was hard. Nowadays all the games are based on Pixar movies. My cousins have to ask me to beat the levels for them… (impersonate a crotchety old man) I was stomping goombas at half their age! - Oh man, I’m having such a nostalgia moment right now. Let’s all just build a time machine and go back to the 90s. Who’s with me? We’re a bunch of smart people, how hard can it be? Wassap, razor scooters, all that jazz! So far I've found this to be absolutely great for big sets, especially mixed sets. It's also good for rapport. My only qualms with it are that it doesn't leave any unanswered questions and it doesn't display preselection/leadership. It DOES display intelligence and a goofy charm, though. Any criticisms/comments are invited. |

I think its great! "FOOT-BALL HEAD" I remember coming home everyday same time and watching the entire line-up of shows. I can totally relate and would doubly enjoy a lively discussion of the 90's. I'am a 80's baby after all. Also, I am sure there tones of Nickelodeon shows out there you can also mention. Such as, Ren and Stimpy, Animaniacs, Spongebob Squarepants is always a favourite, Tiny Toons Adventure, and Buys Bunny and Tweety Show. How about those late 80's and early 90's movies. |

I like this routine a lot! Seeing as I'm a 90's baby. Rocket Power, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, man, I could go on all day here!! I'm totally down for the time machine thing!! |
