Online sarging a girl, after number closed sent her a canned text question that always gets a positive response for me, and she busted me for having read some pick up texting guide. How bad is this? |

LMAO I have never heard that one and nothing is bad if you know how to play it off but you have to be better and better the more ignorant the girl def not a common line i would conffess be like ya cought me i heard this line and thought you were pretty cute direct oppener ok now because she knows your a PUA then be like have you heard many other whats the worst one youve gotten  thats how id play it As always With love The |

Clearly, this is recoverable from and just requires a good re-frame. But I just don't get why the hell you would ask something like that. I ain't trying to be harsh killer, but that's just such a weird thing to say. Seriously, who says stuff like that? And I don't mean that in a "well, I was just being cute and funny way"...calibration to normal society expectations can't completely be ignored, ya know? Also, asking someone a question like that is just low-status behavior...a real cool dude wouldn't give a fuck if a smurf or a cat could kick each other's asses....there's gotta be more important things going on in their life than that right? |

It could be a play on any two cute creatures, the exact ones dont matter. For younger girls smurfs might not work as they wont know wtf a smurf is. But I had calibrated it beforehand when I asked her if I could send random text messages and she replied that she didnt think that was possible, hence I used one of my standard lines. |

Aside the fact that I dislike text game: I'd just plow through. "Did you read some pick up stuff?" You:"No bitch. So who'd win?" Only tested this in regular conversation though, when one girl was asking me if I'd read "Double your Dating" (Which is sarcastically the only book on pick up I've never read.) When doing online or text game you'd want to send the message to a lot of people, not just to one girl. |
