So I was on a date tonight. Good convo, nice little walk.. but somehowe I couldnt get any real kino going. This girl was a bit nervous but all the IOI:s were there, so I decied to try something new and it worked great. From the movie "Hitch" - Will Smith. (The scene where he shows Albert how to kiss a girl when she's making the sound with her keys after a date..) *Getting closer to her door...* Me: So, are you in to whole classic romantic thing, kissing on the doorstep after a date? Her: I guess, but I dont really know how to be like that Me: Well, its quite easy.. you see. As we are getting closer to your door, the critical moment arrives. You'll start to let go of my hand to get your keys. Then when I hear the sound of them clining, Im suppose to move in for the kiss. Like this. (Moving close). But only 90%. The last 10% are for you. Her: (Really close) But Im a bit shy.. Me: Well, good thing you can practice on me then. Her: Okay.. *KISS*. |

Yeah.. well. The I didnt do it very seriously. The point was just to get her relaxed and prepared. I've kissed her before, but there was alot of alcohol involved then so. Very effective to "lead". |

I used the exact same thing the other night and it worked great. When she was shaking her keys I actually laughed when it popped into my head so had to follow up with it.

| That is all I can say! I am going to play this one! I dont thing she will care if she has seen the movie! She wont remember right then! and if shes does, im pretty sure she won't care afterwards! Haha I can't believe you managed to Field Test something from Hitch, top marks for that .You'd be screwed if she'd seen the film, although I suppose if you adapt it slightly or even pre-mention the film "Haven't you seen the film Hitch ? We're suppose to do the romantic post-date kiss now". |

Good call on this one. It gets her quickly pre-visualising what's going to happen, and by doing it within a fun and playful context she'll be more likely to go throught with it. |

Hahaha i'v done soemthing very similar, as we walk back, i say "OMG we gotta have one of those momment that have in movies, were they have that "awakward" kiss at the step" HB "hahaha yeah!" And KISS of course. And after the kiss, when she knows she's coming in, you have use the classic AFC "Do you want to come in for Coffee" and say it really nervously, gets a laugh every time. |

I don't think its any kind of big deal if the girl has or hasn't seen the movie. You could even open the routine with "You've seen Hitch, right?" and then go into it from there, and if she hasn't seen it you can just tell her what happens and how this is what you're both supposed to do. Opening up the routine by bringing up the movie is safer because it doesn't allow her the opportunity to call you out on things. |
