For many of you who read 'the game' you probably heard about a levitating bottle trick Mystery used to impress girls. I have a version of this i've been working on and I gave it, it's 'debut' on saturday night at a party. Note: this trick works best in dimly lit areas such as a bar or nightclub. So here goes To do this trick well you will need -two silver rings (one for each hand) -a piece of the thinnest fishing string you can buy. (it has to be able to support the weight of an empty beer bottle. -an empty rimmed beer bottle (most beer bottles have a wider ridge/rim before the space where you screw the bottle cap on in order to help keep the beer fresh) -As much hot female attention as you can gather. Method. There are many ways you can go about this. I have a ring with moving compartments on it so I can actually tie the string around it and unwind it (mind that sometimes it gets stuck so i just won't do the trick) -I tie the string around my right finger prior to doing this trick. I tie it around the ring finger so no-one watching will be able to see the string indentations on my fingers. -When I have peoples attention I clap my hands together an collect one end of the string in my with other hand (left) and covertly wrap it around my ring finger creating a line between my fingers which is invisible to the naked eye. -Now that I have a string firm between my hands I wave my hands around the bottle pretending to add grandeur to the illusion. While doing this I am acutally lasooing the mid section of the string around the neck of the bottle. I pull it semi-tight so it is choking the bottle but not so much it makes the bottle move. -I then concentrate visually very hard on the bottle to take the attention away from my hands and i lift both hands so the bottle is raising with them directly in between. (When doing this it is very easy to move your hands without the bottle moving as long as you keep tension in the line.) -After I have gotten some oohs and ahhs I place the bottle back on the table, release the string from my left hand and pick up the bottle and offer people to try. - Next opportunity you get, put your right hand in your pocket and slip off the 'string ring' |
