| Post subject: | Friend zone - off and on - what to do? |
So im finding myself in a rather confusing situation. I have known this girl (HB9) for about 6 months, however, for the last 4 or so i was seeing her good friend (HB8). However, hb8 went to a different school. I met HB9 through HB8 because HB9 was coming to my school. About a month after i met HB9 we got to know each other fairly well, and she would frequently tell that she wanted to hook up with me the second her friend (hb8) was out of the picture. I broke up with HB8 about 2 months ago, about 2 weeks after her and HB9 got in a fight and stopped being friends. HB9 and i planned to get together and have a bit of fun, but we could never find time between my sports, and her dance and going to her cabin on weekends. About 2 weeks ago we finally got together, and everything was going well. We had been talking the week before about how she still really wanted me. it seemed like i had her wrapped around my finger, but as we got into making out she broke apart and said she didnt want to do this, i took it as a test, but she wouldnt allow me to make any more moves on her. She simply said that she had problems with friends turning into friends with benefits too fast, and she wanted to take it slow, but end up doing a lot more. I backed off, and we chilled at my house for a bit before her cab showed up (she had to be home by 1). But now by talking to a girl (hb 6) who is good friends with her, but equally good friends with me. HB6 says that HB9 just wants to be friends and nothing more, because she values my friendship. SO..... how do i get out of the friend zone? tl/dr - girl that used to want me while i was with her friend now values me as a friend and doesnt want to step out of the boundaries of a regular friendship. Help. |

this is cat string theory to me. when she can't have you, she wants you, but once she's got you, she loses interest. if i were you i'd find a girl who likes you and you don't mind using just to get that other girl to like you. then once she does, DON'T break up with the other girl, but arrange to meet with the HB9 and see where it goes. tbh, it be too late as i think after she stopped kissing you, you should of froze her out...but you didn't so it might be a lil too late my friend -teen |
