hey everyone, I was wondering if there's a big book of routines out there somewhere (I'd buy it). I know canned material isn't all that, but it could really help filling the silences in my game. thanx, Top ps. i could have posted this in the wrong section, if so please move it. |

Top, I'm going to tell you the last thing you want to hear: Learn WHY canned game works. Learn the science of why some lines attract women, instead of studying the lines themselves. Canned game is good for starters who can't produce the material naturally, but women will eventually see through it if you have holes in your game. Roy Hobbs |

That is a very good point Hobbs, but Top if you really need a book I would recommend Loves Systems Routines Manuals Vol. I & II. I use some of them and it is a good read. Canned material is used to help newbies as somewhat of a crutch. It is recommended that you use them as templates to create your own routines to be congruent with your identity. If however you chose to use the routines directly from the books its a rule of thumb to learn them concept-for-concept and not word-for-word. Just some advice..... -Mr.Clockwork |

Mr. Clockwork said it all. It's important to realize that all these routines fit a certain rubric in which just about anything could be inserted. The Cube gambit, for example, would work just as well with a sphere. Replace the ladder with a rope with knots, the horse with a swan, etc. It doesn't matter; it's all truisms anyway. Change around some of the canned stuff to better fit your own personality, and remember to choose routine rubrics that fit your energy and comfort level. Breaker |

thnx guys, I appreciate the advice, I can't use the canned material straight from the book anyway I'm dutch and a straight translation is really bad. I usually try to look at the routines to find ways to say thing that come from the same place. Although i must admit that some of the one-line responses i'll use as is, because they are damn funny. like the kiss-instructor or kiss (pointing to my cheek) and I'll consider letting you forgive me. |
