I randomly came up with that opener last week and tested it on maybe 10 girls, as an opener or otherwise very early. It's a pretty simple question so I wouldn't be surprised if other people invented it independently. So there are three possible answers: * some very high time like months or years * some very low time like 25 minutes, or 3 hours * i've never really been in love I'm not really sure what to do with high time answer, change the subject I guess. When a girl gives low time answer she opens up and starts talking about emotions immediately. One (average looking) girl gave me a never answer and opened up even more quickly. It never really led me anywhere, but I think there's some potential in it. Anybody else wants to try it? |

Hi Tiemnao, think its a good opener, think I'll try m this weekend. If a girl will give me a long term answer I will try to lecture her on the basics of attraction (biological, genetically biased, blablabla)... If crazy things happen I'll let you know. greetz Buccaneer |

Well that would definitely communicate interest with a HB8+ but for 6-7 it works well. Do you have a background story for the question? |

Pff tried it last week and had to make up a background story... I was sarging with my bro and I told a two set that he had a girl in his class that fell in love very fast. Background story is an issue on this one... and so is continuing after the opener: Sorry guys, but the opener didn't go very well on me. The opener is OK but I found it difficult to switch to mid-game. One set actually walked out after the opener. love to hear when someone perfected it... greetz Buccaneer |

i can see this working well a couple of minutes into the set. It could be an interesting topic of conversation. As an opener- probably a bit too forward and creepy. You can work off of it and just be like "well, last time I was in love it took me like a year", which should sort of take that threat level down a few notches. You can then talk about some interesting stories you know dealing with love, because i'm SURE we all have some crazy ones- I know I do. NOt really about myself, but more about my friends and people i've known over the years. Hell, you can even spit out a DHV story off of this if you want. This is a good way of showing your "willingness to emote" as Mystery so lovingly puts it. |

I think I would use something along the lines of... "are you tired?" "you have been running through my mind all night long!" I forget where I got that from but it might have been strait out of one of mystery's books... But I think that love question opener might be better utilized later, but not quite as an opener... |
