Post subject:  Fast Food Pick Up
Ok well I know it's not the best job but I work a fast food drive thru. I keep having all these HB coming threw and I want to see if I can at least number close... any ideas???

The only 'idea' I can think of is that this is not a good one. I can understand what you are saying but let's face the facts you're going to have to number close in under a few minutes. To do that means you're going to force her to judge you based on appearance and what does she see.

She sees some dude that works in a fast food place hitting on her. Even if you are a good looking guy I just don't see this working. If you screw up and she tells your boss you could easily be out of a job. Not saying you need this job but do you really want you reason for termination as "harrassing customers?"

didnt think of it that way... im just starting and really trying to get out there but i dont really care to go to the clubs... any other place that you might think that has worked for you in the past

I know how you feel about 'clubs' because it's a scary place to go. There are a lot of people and its loud and intimidating but they offer the most opportunities to approach and get good quicker. Also, if you can get good in a 'club' with all those distractions you will be better at other places.

Malls, and Coffee Shops are also good.

I felt the same way because I work at walmart but there just isn't enough time even though some real hot HB's give me constant EC and really genuine smiles. Because I only had about a minute with them, I didn't try for #close or anything but I wonder if I should have. So you can either try and accept that the results are going to be working against you or say fuck it and try anyways. Even though I have a fairly poor self-esteem, I could somehow believe that those HB's would have given me their numbers.

No Wing! Meaning a 'wing' in the sense a person helping you while in set. Here is the reasons why and seriously consider them.

1. Let's say you get a guy starting out like you. He has a bunch of sticking points like you do. Instead of having just one set of sticking points in a set of girls now we have two sets of sticking points we have to overcome to get the girl. Why make things harder?

2. Let's say you get someone who's been doing it a while. He/She goes out with you quit a bit and you become dependent on them.

The main idea of a wing is you should both be able to get results on your own before winging anyone. Without some 'seasoning' it's hard to wing each other.

However, you could use someone in-field with some knowledge to watch you working sets to give you feedback and advice. That is a good type of wing to have starting out. :)

It's hard to know, I went through a lot of wings, it takes a while to find a good person. It's kind of like finding that 'one good girl.'

this is crazy enough that it could work... i like it... any other ideas

cause last night at work i was going to try and #close this girl but she said she had a bf and i lost all train of thought, but i think she may be back tonight she is working down the street from where i work
