I'm pretty sure I can't recover from this, but if I can, I'd really like all the help I can get. Backdrop: Girl I knew from awhile back that I was deep in the friends zone with. Left the picture for a good year and just started talking to her again over myspace. Was a smooth ride all the way to C1 and busted out the cube. She LOVED it and I told her: "Now since I know all this about you, I feel you deserve to know me. If you could ask me 3 questions about anything, what would they be?" She asked her 3 questions, and she wanted me to be very detailed. I gave her really broad/short answers. This made her kinda aggrivated her and she said "The answers to your questions sucked" Me: "I'll make up for it when I make your toes curl back, fair enough?" Her: "Eh, no thanks. I'm in a really bad mood right now and I would suggest not talking to me, sorry." Me: "I'll take you up on that offer." --- Haven't talked to her since (this was 2 days ago) Is there anyway I can recover? |

try acting like everything's normal. if she brings it up, just say "ya sorry about that, that was kinda immature" and then talk about something else like it wasn't a big deal |

^That's answer is total bollocks. Gah, I just had a similar experience with HB8. Sad. First of all, EXCELLENT WORK for not falling into her stupid sympathy hoop. The way to counter this would have been to do what you did, then suggest an alternative direction that would suit both of you. E.g. HB: "I'm really not in a good mood right now, I suggest not talking to me." PUA: "Excellent, that's fantastic. Because I won't talk to you, instead I'll make you feel better by giving you a hug." Then get them to affirm that that felt better (investment + affirmation), and carry on as usual. Anyway, what can you do now? Well, NOT what the person above me said. That is 100% AFC. What I suggest you do is meet her and do a 'pattern break'. What this means is to do something totally random and crazy. E.g. She is walking along, and you see her passing by. You catch her eye, grab her shoulders, shake her and seem over-dramatically upset and announce: "OMG, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!" HB: "What?" From there, make up your own shizzle. You can do whatever you want. After the pattern break is finished, just carry on as usual. |

appologizing and admitting you were immature? might as well tattoo AFC on your forehead.the main point here is that you failed her test. she said to leave her alone, you did. game over. to be honest, if you've known her for a year and you're, as you put it, "deep in the friend zone," its pointless to game her. sounds like a bit of oneitis. i suggest you find someone new to game. |

The way I looked at it, I'd rather would've just stopped talking to her and showed a willingness to walk away, rather than help her with the "problem". |
