Ah! I find my self in this situation a lot where my negs are on the border line of an insult and I explain that I did not mean that to sound so insulting.. but then follow it up with a neg (and of course a smile, let the game continue)

Lets say that you are in the opening phaze of gaming a girl, and you over negged. The neg would be more of a slap on the face and an insult rather than a backhanded compliment. Any suggestions on how to recover? This was my recovery/DHV story... Hey, that was a little harsh on my part but I didn't mean to make you feel bad and uncomfortable. My friends and I (including girl-friends) interact like this sometimes to show our love and joke around with each other. Lets start over on the right foot... *then stack*\ This works 50% to 100% of the time depending on the night... but I wanna hear how everyone else deals with RECOVERY GAME... any suggestions or routines?? |

A neg is taking away her value. To recover just build it back up. Be nice but dont raise her value higher than what it was. Hard to judge i know - but if you negged 3 times too much give her 2 IOI's. But just carry on gaming. Depending on the girl - She wont get seriously offended unless all you do is neg. |

lol... WOW!!! that was sooo last year. My have I evolved my game. RECOVERY GAME: OVERNEGGING I usually tell a stupid joke. I got lots of originals. This one worked the other night. "Hey what do you call a water reservoir that was built by an all gay union?" *girl: I don't know* "DAYUMMN!" or like how Brian from the PUA season 2 says his silly one liner: "I like pickle juice" change subject and don't neg.
