Post subject:  Telling them you like them

I'm surprised we're taught here in the pua community not to ever admit to a girl that you like her. I've read this somewhere, not sure where, probably a psycology magazine, but people are more likely to like someone if that person likes them. As long as we don't admit it to them weakly, and just say it confidently, why shouldn't we tell the girl that we like them?

I'm debating this heavily because I've heard way too many stories of guys who tell girls they "kind of like them" only to be rejected, and magically a few days later the girl tells the guy she "kinda likes him too". It's how our brain works.

Opinions?

I think that if you can say it in person, with the right inflection in your voice, "I think I kinda like you" can be very effective. It you use it in a text or online, you run the risk of her thinking your not confident/straight up pussy.

Personally, when I say it, like.. "Ya know.. I think I kinda like you..." I smirk a little bit. Then expect an answer along the lines of "oh yeah?" or "just kinda?" Then follow up with "you know, just a little...."(maybe holding up my hand with my index finger and thumb an inch or so apart) with a big smile on my face to show them that I'm intentionally understating it.

It ALWAYS works on girls that have plenty of attraction towards you. But... I wouldnt use it unless you were looking for some kind of relationship (or are in one). Because to me it has a more romantic than sexual connotation.

It all goes back to the cat and mouse analogy. The cat is only interested in the mouse until it catches it, then it discards it. You never want her to feel like she "has" you, and she must always feel like she's trying to win you over. You can tell her you like her, as long as you follow it up with a disqualifier or a neg, so she doesn't feel like her chase is over.

I use it all the time but always in a friendly contest and i say it after she busts out a smart ass comment or something, It doesnt come across as sexual at all but it gets the notion into their head that you like them. Might be as a friend or as more but they always try harder to qualify, ALWAYS.

Might seem very beta if you say it wrong or at the wrong moment, right placement is very key for something like this.

I've been gaming milf who is some 10 years older than me, who i actually really like - I made the mistake of letter her know that I really fancy her a little while ago, where she has responded with very much the same. I feel like I've blown the cat string thing, so would it be a good idea to say to her (at the right moment over dinner or something) that I do still really like her but its just a shame that she's not 10years younger.
