Ok, i've kept this one proprietary for too long. My only request is that you try it and post back your results. I expect a long list of success.

Been using this gambit for 3-4 years now. Great way to either blow a girl away with surprise or get her talking a lot. Plus...you will get to meet every single one of her friends with her. Every one.

Very simply, after learning a girl's first name. Guess their middle name. It's easier that it sounds. You have a one in 4 shot of getting it right...MOST of the time. Like Sex Panther cologne. (60% of the time, it works all the time). Sorry.

You see, most girls middle names are meaningless. It's probably either Ann, Lynn, or Elizabeth, or Marie...especially if the girl is 25-35 years old. You may not get it right the first time, but second or third and you still look great! They ask how'd you know. I explain all girls have meaningless middle names. Most guys are named after dad or a family name or something. Girls get a middle name b/c they sound "cute."

If you find one that's different high five her and congratulate her for being unique. This can lead to at least a 5 minute convo on the whole thing.

The key is to listen to their first name, and plug all 4 names in to see what sounds the most likely. If another name pops up that sounds likely, hell use that too.

The fun part is afterwards talking about how right you are about meaningless names. You can then go to all of her friends and try it out.

When she asks how you knew that say "I pay attention." I love that line.

This is maybe really a united states-based thing. I'm from Amsterdam. Many girls here don't have middle names. And in cases they do, I'm sure there are significantly more than 4 options. Maybe in some other European countries or areas it will work too, with specific middle names for those area's. But why would you want to guess here middle name anyway? What kind of positive/alpha character feature does it display?

You say it's working for you, that's great, but come on, why the hell would you go and do this also on her girlfriends? Do they really all have those 4 or 5/6 middle names in the USA? Or do you not care whether you get them right or wrong, but you talk about how you get it right so often. I would have a hard time wanting to do this on 1 girl, doing it after that also on her girlfriends sounds really as a no-do to me. But if you still want to do it on more girls at that place, then they should at least ask you, really, really ask you. Showing that you like doing a trick or game and didn't only do it for that specific girl is a real no-do I think.

Well, it's definitely a USA based routine...doubt it works anywhere else. But in reality, it's scary how well it works. I nail it 75% of the time. The girl is so amused and amazed that this works and she'd never thought of it, SHE actually wants to ask her friends.

I may have miscommunicated in saying for "you" to personally go do it on her friends. A better method, which is how I do it is actually to say to her, "you don't believe it? Go ask some of your girlfriends." By sending her in there you get to hang back as the really observant guy. It will often work on several of her friends and now you have a brief but very unique conversational thread going.

The whole purpose is just that...a unique thread. You're not trying to impress, you're not DHV'ing, you're just being observant and when they realize you're right, it's pretty funny to watch their reactions.

For anyone in the U.S. I seriously suggest you just try it. NExt time a girl tells you her name, try one of those 4 middle names in your head and whatever sounds best is likely it.
Other common middle names besides Lynne, Ann, Marie, Eliza(beth)
are: Renee and Leigh (Lee).

This doesn't usually work on girls younger than 20 as easily because of all the parents trying to give their kids super-unique and often stupid sounding names that usually end up sounding like strippers.
