I've used magic to DHV for years. Even before I began reading the game. I even teach this skill to pua's because all magic seems to be taught for magician's who are looking to just entertain people. In reality, using magic can be a double edged sword. Done well, there's nothing like it to build mystery and curiosity and even fun. Done poorly and you look like a tool. I'd like to know what some of your favorite magic tricks are in the field. Also, check out my signature if you want to learn some of mine. |

Bar tricks are my preference, as I think that magic can be used as a DHV but you don't wanted to be branded as 'the guy that does magic' or 'the magician.' For this reason I don't carry around decks of cards and try to make my magic as spontaneous as possible. Some of my favourites are... Dynamic coin Vanishing cigarettes Mystery's straw trick General coin vanishes. Most of them need hardly any preparation and can be pulled off with ease and without making you a performing monkey. A routine that I use is the center tear. First you draw a circle on a small piece of paper and have a female write the name of someone special to them on the inside of it. While doing this you can find out if she is single or not by telling her if she has a boyfriend it's o.k to put his name in there. Once after you will need to fold the paper hamburger way first and hot dog after. While you are making up your own patter you need to rip the paper up but make sure you don't rip the name. after they paper is torn up you need to palm the little piece of paper with the name and give the rest of them to her. What she will do next is light the pieces of paper on fire, so make sure you have a lighter. While she is doing this most likely she will be on the ground in which you will have ample time to read the paper with the name on it and through it away or put it in your pocket. After this the rest is up to you on how you want to reveal the name. Just don't say it so sudden. |

Switch, Actually, being branded "the guy who does magic" can be a blessing. It's all in how they see you. But I know what you were going for there. The thing is most guys end up looking like the cheesy magician b/c they don't spend time practicing or they don't blend in pick up fundamentals. They let that go out the window. I've been remembered months after meeting a girls as the guy who does magic and they request more. The key is refusing their requests until much later and they've earned it. It can be an enormous DHV when you know what you're doing. That said, even better than a center tear is the torn and restored dollar. It's very easy to do and can be learned in less than 30 seconds. Makes waves everywhere you do it...especially strip clubs. I've made waitress gasp when they saw me rip their tip and then hand it back to them whole. |

the torn and restored dollar bill trick is good but you cant get any mental aspect from it unlike the center tear. |

I like the levitating beer bottle where u dry your fingers on your belt then turn the empty bottle upside down place your index finger on the bottom and the thumb on the side and lift it. |

A routine that I came up with to get a girls number without asking is this. Force a card on the target.( I like the classic force.) then you ask to borrow her phone to make a call. While doing this call your phone and save your number in her phone as the card she picked. after you finished give her the phone back and have her right down the card. What you need to do next is to show her random cards that is not hers. once she denies walk away disappointed and call he phone but dont answer. If done correctly she should call you back. |

Yea but if she isn't digging you it could go the other way, but it's not like anything bad will happen I guess im sayin to just be cautious with this one. |

I don't like tricks, and magic and Cube-like routines. But if I would do a magic trick, it would be a real short one, done seriously, all of a sudden, without waiting or looking at the girl after the trick is done. Standing up and walking away while you give her a certain look directly after the trick, or looking uninsterested about what she thinks of it, is what I would do to levitate your style back to alpha, cause these things are just not alpha man. That way you pretend like you did it without having prepared it. That's just my opinion. Regardless of whether it works great or not. |

I got into magic just a couple of weeks ago (I've been wanting to learn for a while but only just got around to getting something). A good, quick DHV, is a variation on the spinning card trick - having the IT already set up with one end stuck to your sunglasses, piercing or ear and the other stuck to a button on your shirt, you simply transfer the end from your button to a (dry) beer mat and casually flick the beer mat away and have it spin back to your hand. I think levitation magic is great because it can be done quickly, simply and suddenly. When people give you a look of surprise or awe, or say something, you just look surprised at their reactions and say, by way of explanation, 'just practicing'. |
