I have had requests for more of Barry Kirkley, aka Extramask, aka 26 stuff. I have some audio files for the guy from a David DeAngelo Advanced Audio Series. Unfortunately I can't really post the audio on here. So what I have done is wrote out about 9 minutes of his material for you reading pleasure.
~Twenty-Six~
Hey guy what's up? First I will mention that I was a virgin until I was 26 and a half years old. I just turned 28 on Friday. So I...(applause) I'm not doing it for applause, thank you though. I went out 4 times a week I hung out with lots of guys in the scene, and that's one of the biggest things, get out there and approach guys. You got to change your lifestyle. I basically got obsessed with the whole thing. I'm not getting too much into it, but to make a long story short I didn't kiss a girl until like wow, November of 2002. I didn't hold a girls hand until that day too, same day. Then a few weeks later I laid a girl or whatever. Things have been good since then.
A few things I like to do is I like to have fun, I like to image, and change things up. So, if we're having fun in set and you are going back and forth, what I'll do is I will walk up to a girl and flick her on the arm. Usually if things are going good they will flick you back. As soon as they flick you back say, "Don't fucking flick me." (Serious voice) After that, you flick them back again. Then they'll get pissed at you right? You remember when you were in the school yard as a kid, and you're both going to fight when you were in grade 4. I get right up over her face and say, "You...Me...outside right now." Then she gets in your face and you go back and forth, it's playful. Sometimes you can even get into a wrestling match and fun stuff like that.
Other things I like to do is...I find props in the venue. Anything all over the place I will use. If there is a cup, I will make a character out of it. For example, I take a cigarette package, I will make a mouth out of it. Then I will start talking to the girl, and if her name is Lisa for example, I'll start going (in childish high squeaky voice) "My name is Lisa, and I'm stupid. And I don't know anything. I'm really stupid." I'll make sure her friends see all this too. Alright, a lot of times they will hit the thing out of my hand. It'll fly all over the place, and I'll pick it back up like he's coming back from the dead. (childish high squeaky voice again) "I'm back from the dead...I'm Lisa and I love you." I do a lot of things like that. I will take a spoon off the table and I'll start singing songs that I just make up on the spot. (Singing) "I'm Lisa...I'm Lisa....I'm a fabulous girl...I'm a fabulous girl in this world....I know everything." I'll do this right in front of her friends, and that doesn't make any sense but the thing is I'm having fun, that's all that I care about right? Cause really that's all I care about.
I do a lot of stuff like the cell phone. When they are talking and they take their cell phone out it's like, Holy f--k that's annoying! So sometimes I'll just grab the cell phone out of their hand and just imitate them. I'll walk around like (high pitched childish voice again) "I'm stupid..." But at this point it's fun I have a conversation going on with them, it's good. I'll take off their hat and imitate them. I'll put on their jacket, and do the exact same thing. Just make them look geeky, kind of like a little sister kind of deal.
Another thing I like to do is imitate people who aren't very good at approaching girls. So, if I'm talking to a girl for then minutes or something like that I'll say, "Okay, let's try something here. Let's pretend we're going to start this conversation all over again, but I'm like the super freaking geek approaching you. I want you guys to give me your best blow off." So I'll do the whole thing, like guys that are kind of creepy the walk like this towards you and then they'll stop. So I want her to blow me off. They'll blow me off, they will give me their best blow off. They are like, "Pffff, whatever!" It's fun and it gets them into the act. What this conveys that I don't get blown off, because I'm goofing on the guys that get blown off.
I like to play a lot of fun games with women too. I like to play this game called "F-ck, Marry, Kill" I told many of you probably about it. I heard about it from the Howard Stern show. What you do is you say, "I want to try something with you guys. I have a game called F-ck, Marry, Kill. What we're going to do is I'm going to pick 3 guys out in the bar for you. One of them you have to pick to F-ck, one of them you have to pick to Marry, and one of them you have to pick to Kill. I'm not going to pick the best looking guys for you, I'm going to pick those stranger looking guys." So what you do is go arm in arm, walk around the club, and make your selections. If she points go, "Don't point what the hell are you doing? How am I suppose to hang out with you if you are going to point and be rude like that." You pick out her guys and she makes her selections. Then you say, "Listen I want to play too." Then they get to play it back on you. A lot of times guys they pick up pretty hot chicks. So be honest with them have fun and do that.
Oh yeah, coolest dad name, I've been using this a lot lately. This has no point to it but I just like doing it. What I'll do is go, "Okay guys it's time to play COOLEST DAD NAME. Let's see who has the coolest dad name. What we're going to do is go all around in a circle, and we're going to say the names." What this is good for is mixed sets, everyone seems to go for it. I'll tell people to start off and I'm the judge of the coolest dad name. Everyone will go around, "My dad's name is Gerald, my dad's name is Frank, my dad's name is Tom," and I'll say my dad's name is John. Again if the hot girl's there I'll go (singing) "Frank and Andrea sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G." I'll do stuff like that just to f-ck around with them.
If things are going well. you know back and forth, I like to do a middle finger crank, just in the middle of set. Do the crank. Then they will be like, "You're stupid!" it's okay though. You know if you get a vibe and you're just in the zone you can do a lot of stuff guys. If you give a girl the finger once in a while, if you're in the zone. You got to read the playing field, it's like the matrix, you know what I mean?
If you say a good joke guys, make sure you come back and repeat it again after. The comedy rule is do things in 3's. If it’s really funny do it over and over again, but don't bleed it dry. It brings them back to that emotion earlier, it's a pretty important step.
I like to play video games on girls cell phones. I'm pretty high tempo some times. I'll grab their cell phone and I'll just shut up, and I'll go to the video games section, and I'll start playing the video games. I'll just sit there and play their video games. Guys, these girls especially hot ones they complain about their boyfriend always sitting at home and playing video games. So all I am doing is imitating the guys that they usually go for. I'm just another guy that plays video games. They complain about them, but guess what they keep going back to them. I'm just another one of those guys, and I'm conveying that to them, especially for hot girls.
There is this site that AT&T has and you can type out sentences and it'll come out in a robot voice. I can put anything in there. What I do is I'll make some sentences up before I phone her, and I'll have them prepared. So I'll call her up and go, "You won't believe this Laura, I just found this on Kazaa, I just downloaded it. I couldn't believe it when I started to download it." Then you put the phone up to the recording and play it...(robot voice) "Laura is a super geek. I hate you." or (robot voice) "Barry is the coolest guy in the world." Just stuff like that, it’s fun, I mean who do this, not that many people. [AT&T research speech or something like that]. Give a girl an Indian sunburn if things are going really well, give her a noogie in the head, give her the Spock. My dad use to go, "I'm going to Spock you!" Then he'd grab me here and I'd freaking sink. It doesn't hurt it's just fun, and it's cute.
