Hi lads.

A common technique that guys use is the push pull - show interest in a female, back away, show interest again back away etc etc etc etc. Surely though females also do this and are probably better known for the hard to get than males are.

How do you handle the push pull when it is a female doing it to a guy - showing interest then backing away and doing it a few times over ? What is the best method to play this out ?

There is none.

Even when you pull it's blatantly obvious you're doing it in a tease like manner and are into her to some degree. Same applies the other way around. Or at least that's how it should be.

You don't "counter" something that's supposed to be fun and enjoyable. Develop you wit so you can snap back smart replies on the fly, but don't think tactics.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think of it as supposed to be fun and enjoyable. Push Pull I think is made to frustrate the other person to the point where they won't stop thinking about you. It is meant to make them irritated with you, without you doing anything seriously wrong so that you are constantly in their mind. It is meant to confuse the other person so that they can be in two minds - often saying - I can't work this person out - i'm uncertain if they like me or not - for the recipient it is meant to be a confusing irritating game.

Of course the above is only my humble opinion.

Do you think that's the recipe for a successful relationship with that person when it's not in a playful and enjoyable manner?
