I am new to this whole pickup thing but i have spent quite a few months reading all about it, i notice that many people on here will approach girls that are in their eyes 5s and 6s. i personally only approach girls that are in my eyes 8s and above, so far i have made 2 approaches but they were flops due to feeling quite tense and nervous(they were both in a shop and looked in a hurry) |

You should only approach the women you feel are the hottest. There are plenty of them out there, and, when you are successful, you will only hook-up with attractive women. You'll also only get rejected by the hottest women, and there is absolutely no shame in that! |

Thank you GGplayer i have been told by people that i am very good looking(i guess about 8/9 in looks) so i feel that i am able to get a girl who is the equivalent or higher in appearance. |

Nah you're thinking about it the wrong way. Looks are a little important, but i'd say it's about 80% how you carry yourself and your personality. So if you're have confident body language and are regularly complimented on your personality, then you're on the right track. Relying only on looks gets you nothing but frustration and disappointment. |

This is correct. If it was just about looks you wouldn't need PUA techniques.My advice is to open on girls that you think are a 5,6 or 7. This will give you more confidence when you approach because you think these girls are below you. It seems like when you approach girls you think are a 9 or 10, you don't have any confidence and it shows. So to get around this mental block build confidence with girls you think are a 5,6 or a 7. |

You should be willing to approach any and everyone.

That " I only approach 8's and above" is something you will get over once you get around 500 approaches under your belt. You have to get out there and talk to everyone. Flirt with women period. You don't have to sleep with them, but it keeps you in a state of constantly receiving positive attention from women. Soak up as much of that as you can. But with only 2 approaches, its difficult to wrap your head around this. |

There's no point talking to ugly girls. I hate when they talk to me. And the worst is when girls that aren't hot think they're hot.Girls with no looks think their value is based on looks that they don't have. |

Lower spectrum girls deserve to be talked to in certain situations. For example if I was at a Home Depot buying wood or some shit in the back, and see a lower energy level chick, I'm not going to approach. But if I showed up early at a club or some other high energy place I would talk to them to build a social proof. It's not that hard to say "hi" and "how you doing". |

Agreed! I only approach 7-10s and like Eddie said above^^ you'll get use to it. Plus if you "flop" better with a 10 then a 5. You'll feel worse with a 5. Plus when women around you see you talking to a 10 its a DHV and shows them what YOUR standard of women is. |
