| Post subject: | What do you do when future projecting fails? |
So I have been practicing future projecting with co workers for months now. Like today, my co worker was sick and said she couldn't go to the doctor because she had no pto. So I told her we have to move to Scandinavia to get their 30 days of PTO. She did not buy into this at all. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I am wondering what to do when it does not. |

Your colleague probably misread the joke. Maybe she was having a bad day or just didn't get the humour. I'd say Future Projecting is more about the "next stages" of a relationship than an attraction technique. Think of it as "relationship planning" instead and you'll see how your colleague could've misread your joke. It's really useful in a bar/club environment when you want to create more comfort as you can state future acts that you may do together. To create the effect that you want to see her again. "I'll definitely take you to *cool location* at some point. You'll love their *cool thing a venue has*" When something you say doesn't go down too well. Just act like what you said is golden and it's them who doesn't understand. You can shrug and say "I can see our humour doesn't fit well." C. Tingham |

It sounds like she was just having bad day, in a shitty state of mind due to her cold. I wouldn't worry about it, look at it this way, the more you use future projections, ingraining them into your personality, the more calibrated you will become and the more you will use them at the right time and place. I personally love future projections because they operate on the pink elephant principle. Which is simply that I cannot describe to you a giant, pink, elephant without you imagining it in your mind. Which is why I use future projections to get a women to imagine us together, doing whatever, even if she doesn't consciously agree with what I'm saying, that experience still registers in her subconscious, which cannot differentiate between an imagined experience and one that came from physical reality. However if she does agree and goes along with it, there will be less conscious resistance, she will associate more positive emotions to the experience, and the longer she dwells on the thought the greater the subconscious impact. For example Mystery's "We're too similar routine" is a powerful future projector in the sense that it get's the girl to imagine the two of you fighting, already being in a relationship, and having great sex. What more could you ask for in a pick up line? Not to mention it's a false disqualifier that will have her vying to prove you wrong. Talk about a double edged sword. Genius! I use it all the time. So in conclusion, if used properly future projections can be used to create immediate attraction, convey personality, and most importantly create an imprint of experience involving the two of you onto her subconscious. She was just having a bad day man no worries. Keep up the good work. |
