Who said TV rots your brain, I think this is from the Illusionist. Edward Norton teaches a magic trick. To guess which hand something is in. I've used it myself, it works (make sure there is light where you are) Turn around and have her hold something in her hand up to her head. while she is doing it she needs to have a mental picture of her hand and the object inside of her hand. Whatever it takes to keep her hand up to her forehead for 10 seconds. Then have her but her hand down and you examine her hands, the hand that was up to her head will be slightly paler due to the blood leaving. That is the hand she had up to her head. now even if she lies and has a different hand up to her head, it will still impress her (inside) because she lied and you still were right, even if she never admits you were right. Then you just brush it off and say "i never said i was an expert" lol.

I remember that scene that's a good idea B-Sweet!

By the way, Saturday night I was winging a set for a guy and on the obstacle I used the "Ben's mom had 3 kids" with the coins. She guessed it wrong, I busted her on it. Then I made her a member of the famous "PEN15" club. THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION.

First of all sorry if i make any mistakes with my english (im Greek :P)

I use this routine too but i dont finish there. She asks me how i found which hand was and i tell something like i saw your eyes, read your mind, concetrated on the coin(you ll figure something out :P),,and then i tell her that if she concetrates or try to read my mind etc she can do it too!

But while i am telling her all these, i put my other hand (my empty hand) in the pocket and take another coin putting it in the palm without letting her know. So now i have one coin in each hand. I put my hands at the back pretending to mix them, tell her to guess and voila! Any hand she chooses theres a coin! double points! I high five her and put the other coin in my pocket (ofcourse smouthly so she doesnt understand anything).
