I am wondering if the basic physical escalation we start with(starting with tap on shoulder, putting hand on shoulder, arm) should appear intentional or should appear that we do that subconsciously without knowing it because its a habit. I think if it looks intentional, then it would send clearer signal that we are interested. Moreover, I have seen few times I miss because of distance or very few times hands don't land that perfectly as I thought. I feel that higher level kino mentioned in http://www.tsbmag.com/2006/10/17/a-step ... scalation/ can be/should be appearing doing intentionally as that tells that we know what to do and display confidence. |

I've had much better luck making it look completely intentional. I suppose unintentional stuff would work too, to a point... The whole idea with kino is to build a closeness, and identify yourself as 'not just a friend' by touching... I don't know why you'd choose to do that discreetly, personally. |

They both work, unless you're over-thinking it. Then, you'll look awkward and creepy. Just go with it. Use it as exclamation marks. Touch her when she says something funny or something that surprises you. |
