Hi guys I stumbled across a routine about creating an intimate (&/or sexual) connection with someone (ie. girl). Basically, it says we look into each others left eye, and carry out some routine. I think she got freaked out and I got freaked out too, because our face were really close, which magnifies the left eye into us seeing this monsterous gigantic eye ball thing. So, just curious, is our faces meant to be like book-reading-distance away? |

I've used this a couple times after getting to know a girl that I'd like to stick around. Usually I'll use it while sitting across from her at a table, so probably the distance of a booth in a restaurant. |

I think that a preferred tactic in this instance could be instead to use "triangular gazing" where you slowly move from looking at her left eye to her right, to her lips and then back again. Better for creating sexual tension when you make natural eye contact with someone its rare that you will focus purely on one eye if you are that close. |

Huh? Soul gazing? Never heard of it... I naturally look to a woman's left eye if i'm interested. If i'm intimidated(Don't particularly like the girl or don't know whether or not I want to close her -- you know those 7s that don't quite cut it...) i'll look to their right eye or across their shoulder but if I like a girl I pretty much always look to her left eye. Or have I got this wrong? |

Oh... Right, checked into it. Makes sense... It's not some mystical crap, it's pure psychology. Haha. I'd do that shit anyway without setting up my "ritual space." Shit man, it's powerful, light grazing touches, locking eye contact. It is by it's definition intimate. You can even do this in a pub if you've got her complete attention. |
