Hey guys,

Just wanted your opinion on remembering names. When being introduced to new girls do you guys make extra effort to remember names?

Why am I asking?
Say you get introduced to some girls, talk to them for a few minutes and then go and chill with your friends again. Say you meet them later that night and call them by name and they don't remember yours. Is that then a DLV?

Thanks in advance!

It's a DHV..But depends when..Anyway, I'm memorizing people by their cloths, or features.."Big Boobs Erika"
try givin them funny nicknames whenever you caught with your pants down.

The best way I can think of is to repeat the name of the person you just met, and say it right back to them. Girls love hearing their name being said for some reason.
Ex: "Jessica.. Jessica.. that's swedish isn't it?"; "God Jessica, you're such a slut"

If you forget their name still, I would just say "Whats up girl," you don't really lose any value by doing that. Or I would tell them to spell their name. You could make up some shit saying you're from the Uk and you don't know if it's spelled differently.

He actually didn't ask that. He said he remembers their names, but they don't remember his. That's not DLV, but IOD (indicator of disinterest) from her. You probably didn't make a good first impression if that happens, but that doesn't mean it's game over. It's a good time to throw a neg. Ask her where she lives, in case she forgets and you have to take her home or something like that.

Dont tell them your name until they ask and they will be more likely to remember it.

People you don't know well are generally impressed when you remember their names. Knowing someone's name from the get-go (whether through social networking or some encounter several months ago) greatly increases the likelihood of a successful pickup.

So I read this book recently called Moonwalking with Einstein. All about this dude who spent one year going from average guy to competing in the world memory championship. The techniques they use are actually a great way to flex your creative muscle, and the book is a pretty solid read.

A lot of techniques circle around visual mnemonics around the sound of their name or different syllable. so let's say someone's name is Sarah. you can visualize her face in the Sahara desert, maybe on a camel or something silly. making these visual connections will create more connections in your brain between her face and name.

Plus as a bonus, intellectual girls have really dug when I explain the process to them.
