| Post subject: | Personal Comfort Zone |
I am kinda new at all of this, and have been doing it for only about 2 months. I have had some success with getting a number close and a kiss close, but this is only when I am really comfortable with the place I am at. I can not do anything if I am not comfortable with the location. For some reason my confidence goes away, and I can not do anything right to save my life. Tonight I went to a party, and did not really feel that comfortable for some reason, and did absolutely horrible at opening and keeping the girls interest. But last weekend I did great because i was at a place I felt good in. How do I change this? I realize that I need to fix or do something different so that I can be successful anywhere, not just places that are familiar to me, because I will not be able to just stay in those places to meet girls. I want to be able to go anywhere and be successful, not just certain places (like a friends apartment party). I really appreciate any suggestions that anyone can give... |

Welcome to the forum shades22..... I would suggest going out to more different places than your comfort zone. Switch it up from venue to venue. Whether it be a bar, club, house party, beach party....etc.. Do it often as well...it will eventually get rid of your failed attempts at other various venues. |

i would try to figure out why you feel comfortable at some places and not at others. you need to develop the invincible mentality. the only thing that can stop you is you. then envirnment is just a different shapped building with different music and people. who cares? nothing should intimidate you. from now on, only sarge places that you are uncomfortable in, and sarge hard. open every set that is in you're field of vision, run everything you know. become comfortable in different surroundings. adapt. |

Shades, Just like in martial arts, a true PUA (Ninja) is master of himself and environment. My advice is that there is going to be a naturally varying energy level at each location. You might be at an apartment party with 15 people just chilling around with nothing too extreme going on, or you might be at a bar with 50 people with action happening all around you. The key is, that when you enter the set, you go in with a SLIGHTLY HIGHER energy level than the set you are approaching (don't know if you've read about this or not) I don't think the environment will have as much of an effect on you if you keep this in mind. I understand that it's sometimes difficult gauge some of these interactions in different places but evaluate the energy levels where you're at and go from there. Game is game , is game, is game. Don't let external factors control what you've got going for you. Hope this helps! |
