| Post subject: | The Fairyland Routine |
Well, this routine strikes me in the middle of a PU… And I applied in that very pickup and truly speaking it was a success… After that, I used it couple of times and no need to tell it didn’t disappointed me… Instead of just telling the routine, I narrate the way I deliver it… so here it goes… “Hey, you have a very cute smile like cindrella!” (If she has long hair then I prefer Rupunzel) She smiled. “See, there the smile again…” and I made her friends notice it too. “Let me ask you something very quick. Do you still remember your childhood, when your mom used to read you fairy tales and you used to listen to them with utmost interest?” She answers. (Mostly they answer ‘yes’) “You know I can make you feel that way again… or may be better than that time.” She asks, “How?” (She might also say, “Really?”) “I will ask you to visualize something… it’s more like a visual game… You just do what I’m asking you to do and you bet you will have a fantastic experience. And an adventurous girl like you should try this (tag).” If she agrees. (The routine goes like this) “One fine morning you open your eyes and you find yourself in a new place. It is a fairyland with trees, field, river, mountain, and a castle. 1. How big the field is? 2. How many trees are there? 3. How high the mountain is? 4. You walk up to the river and look into it. How deep the river is? 5. How big the castle is? Now visualize yourself, as you are a fairy of this fairyland. Your prince is in that castle. Now visualize you are walking towards the castle. Now when you come to the castle door, and opened it… suddenly dragon comes. 1. Now what is the color of the dragon? 2. How big the dragon is? Now, your prince charming comes, slays the dragon, and saves you. Thus, you and your charming prince lives happily ever after. Meaning: Trees: Complicacy. Mountain: Ambition. Field: Mentality (open-minded/narrowminded/etc). River: Emotion. Castle: Determination. Dragon: Ideal lover/boy friend Color of dragon: a. Red- Emotional b. Black- Classic c. Pink- Romantic d. Brown- practical Size of dragon: Expectations. Enjoy!! And best of luck!! Let me know how much success the routine has been to you. |

is this something you just came up with or is there some scientific basis to what each element means in her mind? |

Hey JRBobDobbs, I will be completely honest with you... when i first used this routine i had no idea what i was doing... it was basically a theory... then i studied most of the routines (created by Mystery and style) and tried to find if there is any link to my observation and their routines. The psychology behind the word i.e which feeling strikes the mind first when they hear the words (like mountain, river, etc). It is mostly based on the subconscious mind. The color part I studied in 'Color Psychology'... and several hit and trial method, i put everything into pieces and here it is the 'Fairyland routine' in front of you.... -------------------------------------------------------- Quote: The moment you treat her like a princess, she ignores you;
You put a price upon yourself, she’s behind you. |

I don't understand how you bring the stuff with all the meanings? how high the mountain is means her amount of ambition etc. How do say all that to her after it? |

you don't need a scientific basis for cold reading, but you do need attention and co-operation ... and they might loose interest if the part where they have to work (imagining something) is too long..i would give them feed back after every stage and have them ask to continue before delving deeper into their Psyche... |

although, what a cold reader is explicitly saying is not a real representation of a persons personality, there is a formula to cold reading...sometimes people will challenge the assumptions if they pick up on the style...if you have a quick come back that blocks off all avenues of challenge.. you can have a very strong routine |
