Hey guys, i've been reading up about PUA stuff for a while now and did my hw but i would like to ask this (sorry if i missed it on the forum): does ethnicity and having an accent play as a factor in attraction? more specifically, asian trying to seduce caucasion/westerner etc..? I would like to mention that i'm highly influenced by western culture but due to my family speaking in our native tongue, i still carry that accent with me. Now i think of myself as quite sociable and have fast reaction speed but ONLY in the situation with asians. I think perhaps my lack of vocabulary and cultural background kind of kills it. I know that people mentioned height and looks is not important compared to ur skills................but doesnt culture or race or whatever play a role? (i honestly think its easier for caucasians to get asian HB9/10 then for asians to get caucasian HB9/10). Also i look way younger than my actual age!! (which western girls have hard time to adapt to?) I know its a long post but i encourage discussions please!! (please keep this on the ethnicity issue instead of my inner game issue, since i do fine with asian girls) THANKS !!! |

I'm asian too, and I find it much easier to talk to asians. But i dunno, thats just me. someone is probably just gonna come in here and say it doesn't matter what race you are, as long as your inner game is strong. |

ok. Race really doesn't matter...kinda. First off, a LOT of white girls have a pre-existing disinterest in blacks and asians. But that just means they aren't looking for them, and have all but ruled them out. So if you can spark even the slightest interest from them, you get bonus points. She sees you as different from the rest and thinks you must be special. And sometimes they get a romantic idea about being "the girl with the cool asian boyfriend." (guys do this 'bonus point' system too) In this manner, you may actually have the advantage over the run-of-the-mill whitey. So all you have to do is get her interested. Now how to do that... The asian accent isn't sexy. sorry. So your best bet would be to play the strong silent type. Try to come up with a method to speak using as few words as possible, until you know that you've built comfort with her. Once you can get her hooked on you, the accent shouldn't be an issue anymore. I've had a bunch of asian friends, with and without accents. They all claim the same problem, but eventually get past it. No matter what you may think, take the time to look around at couples, there are far more white/asian couples where the guy is asian rather than the girl. |

To be honest. Just carry yourself like Jet Lee in his movies. This is a good alfa asian who knows how to carry himself. I know plenty of chicks who think hes hot, and it's not for his looks either. |

Newplayerz, you write very well. If you can speak using the same structure and words you do when you write there shouldnt be any trouble. To me it sounds like a self conscious, inner game issue. If you have some extra cash and the will power...maybe try getting a speech coach to help you ditch the accent. However i disagree with Dna...i know alot of white girls who will only date other nationalities, especially black. However there are some girls here and there that do stick to race/religion when dateing. That is NOT your problem, thats thier's....do what you do and dont let it bother you. As a matter of fact i know a few girls who love hearing guys accents...usually it doesnt even matter what the accent. The only time i see an accent becomming an issue is when it makes you hard to understand. If this is the case just work on it like someone would on body language or style. |

yeah im asian, but i don't have this accent problem, been raised in a western society all my life although born in an asian nation. anyway. ive managed to k-close a few white girls so far. two blond hb7's and a brunette hb8. i don't really think they cared that i was asian. and im pretty new to the game too. |

I personally think having an accent is an advantage. It makes you more interesting and adds depth to your character. As far as etnicity goes, there shouldnt be a problem. Almost every girl I've dated has had a different ethnic background than me. |

i agree with hollywoodinpa, there must be plenty of strong alpha male asian guys u could model yourself on, like jet lee or bruce lee, but with the extra factor of course being you also got your OWN personality |

dude, im indian. i only speak my language at my house. granted, i dont have an accent, but i can turn it on if i need it. I went and sarged once at a party saying that i just came from india. i number closed a few times, there was enough curiousity that she wanted to know me better. it sounds more like a self esteem problem, work on your inner game. some of the funniest, coolest guys i know at my college have a strong accent, and the girls NEVER worry about it. |

haha, i never thought of sarging with an accent, i wonder if girls like jamaican lol. im gonna try it and report, but as far as race and accent go, dont worry about it, u can change ur accent but ur race is constant if shes not interested move on. plain and simple |

First of all an accent can only help you. I live in a country where english is a foreign language and its the only thing I speak. To them I have the most interesting accent with my english and they love me for that |
