What are some easy guitar songs too learn / sing? Im not amazing at guitar but I am also not shitty and have an alright voice. I know women love when a guy plays for them ( ive seen it). I know this is a corny idea, but give me a break. Im just looking for that edge for when i got the girl back at my place open for any other suggestions as well |

I play guitar as well (can't sing for shit however)Im not amazing at guitar but I am also not shitty and have an alright voice. I know women love when a guy plays for them ( ive seen it). I know this is a corny idea, but give me a break. Im just looking for that edge for when i got the girl back at my place open for any other suggestions as well Learn songs that girls like. Give HER something to sing along to. That way she can get involved and the two of you can have fun. Most girls won't want to sit there by themselves just listening to you. That's shit in the movies dude. They get bored after about 30 seconds. Learn stuff like DMB and John Mayer (chick type shit) so that way you can play and she can sing. Or learn REALLY easy shit and try and teach her. And yes... it's very corny. However, you are right. Women love a guy who is musically talented. |

"Entrails Ripped From a Virgin's Cunt" by Cannibal Corpse. Guaranteed blowjob right there... Seriously though. I've been playing guitar (Electric Lead) for about 4 years now. I like to shred and play really fast technical shit. Most girls will be amazed by your musicianship, but as Majik stated, this will only last momentarily. Shredding doesnt hold a girls attention the way some simple chord progressions or fingerpicking does. So learn so basic chord shapes. Open position chords and barre chords. From there, come up with your own progressions and play your short little songs whenever they notice the guitar in your room and ask you about it. Learn to sing if you can. Trust me, I just learned how to play "Share your Secrets" by the cribs, (british rock, look it up on youtube) and I can play it while actually singing it!!! I have singers in my family, so my voice is actually pretty decent, its just, its VERY VERY hard to learn and teach your brain to be able to handle singing and playing at the same time. But hey, if some of my heroes can do it, so can you. And these are guys who play metal. Thrashy, and deathy shit where tempo and constant rhythmic control is required. Think James Hetfield of Metallica, Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom, Matt Heavy from Trivium, and James Malone from Arsis. (personal fav. ^_^ ) Also, if theres one song I can inform you about that is guaranteed to get you laid, it's "More than Words" by Extreme. Before its over, her pussy will be soaked, and she'll sweating like a gay guy eating a hot dog. One last thing. Sweep Picked Melodic Metal arpeggios while played on a distorted amp setting will sound gorgeous, and I have actually had girls hear me play this type of thing and their jaws drop. Then they either tell me how beautiful it sounds, or they ask me "How I did that?!!?" When I change my strings in a few days, I'll come back to this thread and show you what I mean with a clip of me playing. The way I described it makes it sound incredibly hard to do, but it's not. Then again, I practice about 5-6 hours a day, so who knows. |

I've played guitar for about 15 years, and piano for 25+. By far what works best for me is flamenco or classical guitar or piano; however, it is not easy. All the yngwie malmsteen stuff is impressive but I have found more girls are impressed by my flamenco guitar despite me being much better at the electric. But, back to the original posters question, some of the easiest songs to play or at least "fake your way through" that are kinda cool (in my opinion) are: anything tom petty (like Free Falling, for example) Wish you were here (pink floyd) some stone temple pilot stuff, especially if you simplify some of the chords To be with you - Mr Big is a decent one that isn't hard (similar to the more than words idea) stairway to heaven, despite being the supposed first song many people learn is not that easy.. I'll also add chicks dig musicians; come hear me play guitar/piano/whatever is pretty much my go to move to get a girl back to my place. |

I'm surprised at the number of guitarists and creative people on here. Maybe pickup is a creative art after all I've been playing guitar for 10 years, influenced by Yngwie Malmsteen among others. The stupid thing I've realised is girls don't appreciate beautiful neo-classical arpeggios. They just go crazy when I play simple Dimebag Darrell pentatonics with a ton of squealing harmonics and dive bomb Singing as well is the way to go. Rather than sing AT the girl like a douche, sing to a group of people and eyeball the girl. Outside of guitar I write and perform electronic dance music, this definitely gives you access to VIP pussy, but even when you have groupies and a ton of DHV / social proof you can still get rejected by legit HB10s, so game is still relevant, no matter how successful you are musically. It's easy to pick up medium quality women, but I've learned to say no and pursue higher quality women, which has done wonders for my reputation. To have such an abundance of women that you turn down sexual advances of women who are HB7 or below us a good place to be, as long as you can handle some lonely nights sometimes. Good luck bro. |

HAHAHA!!! I'm so glad I just read this. ^^^ I completely agree with you on the pentatonics, brother. In my first real year of playing, I was a total noob, and I brought these two girls into my house to hang out. I was interested in one of them, and when they saw my guitar, they asked me to play them something. As I stated, I was a total noob, and my vocabulary was limited, sooooo I ended up doing this legato style (for those of who dont know, that's when you sound and sustain the notes without picking) pentatonic run, and she was like, "Woahhh, how are you doing that with just one hand!?!?" Looking back on that now, it makes me smile and laugh, because, it was SUCH amateur shit, but, when you cant do something cool, it ALWAYS looks cooler I guess... Anyway yea, I'm really big into Yngwie, and Dime is one of my heroes as well. Right before, I was alerted by email of this post, I was playing the solo to "Cowboys From Hell" haha what a coincidence. |

Tastefulness is the key... but if you guys really want the ladies with guitar, learn some good fingerpicking shit... they eat it up! I def find some yngwie is more impressive than simple pentatonic stuff though, cause it's a sound they probably haven't heard before and looks more impressive. Need some background music though to really make solo guitar sound cool which is why I usually stick to piano or flamenco if I want to impress a chick. |

Yea good point, man. ^^^The more versed you are musically in general the more attractive and knowledgeable I'm sure you'll be thought of. Fingerpicking really is the best way to go in my honest opinion. That or some cool arpeggios. These are girls we're talking about here. I've seen a few of them just try to pick up a guitar to play one damn string and crack a smile when they succeeded... So if you can show them something even remotely cool to pique their imagination on the six string, you will be rewarded. |

Listen to me. If you can play a handful of chords and sing then you're in like sin! It doesnt matter what you play as long as it follows these three rules... 1. It's catchy (has an easy but enjoyable hook.. very much like an opener) 2. It's packed chaulk full of energy. Or at least is delivered that way. (The only reason you Should play a slow song is if your isolated with her. In which any case. Should be delivered eith energy) 3 (this one's a stretch but bare with me. Im wording it as I go) play a song people wouldnt mind you playing twice in a row. Or more precise play a song where the beginning sounds like the end, so that when they hear the end they actually think of the beginning. 95% of my closes where because of my guitar. I love the beatles. They're amazing. Four/five/three chord songs that have BEAUTIFUL vocal melodys. "I've just seen a face" no matter who it is im playing to, is my fail safe. |
