I was hanging out with a HB7 the other day and it seemed like she was on speed or something :P Talking very fast and excitably, and she was leaning into me and everything. Then I remembered this neg I read somewhere (honestly dont know if its from this forum, but props to whoever and I cant take credit for it)

HB: bla bla bla (at a mercurial pace, not kidding)

Me: *blinking uncontrollably, wiping my face near my mouth and looking at her in bewilderment*

HB: ... (confused look on her face)

Me: Do you have a tissue or something? (Implying she was talking so fast that she was spitting all over me)

HB: *realises what she did* OMG Im soooo sorry *blushes hard and rummages her handbag looking for a tissue*

Me: Dont worry about it *continue conversation, but at my own controlling pace*

The logic I found behind this neg is that women cant help but feel embarrassed if they were spitting on you while talking, so technically we are performing a DLV on her to make her feel like shit. And shes gonna be blushing afterwards from her 'stupidity', making her more vulnerable for more shit tests we want to put her through (or whatever else we have in store). Wherever you wanted to take it from here would be entirely up to you, depending on the girl and how well you know her.

Cant take credit for it, but just letting everybody know that its super easy to pull off and works wonders with shifting the power balance in any conversation (psychological implications to this neg, Im guessing...)

My apologies if I created some confusion here, but yes Im trying to say that this is a neg.

Anyways, I would only recommend it if the women tries to be dominant over you during a conversation and you are running out of ideas. Its quick, easy (funny too :P ) and works most of the time (my friend tried it out also and said it works wonders with him). It flips the power balance in your favor, and makes her feel less superior.

No offense guys but i think you are arguing over something kinda stupid. Who cares what it is called. Neg/Shittest whatever. Point is, no one wants to be the one spitting on the person they are talking to especially if you are flirting. It is pretty embarrassing when it happens. If you have created interest at all prior to doing this the person, they will be come embarrassed. When i girl feels embarrassed she will either dip out, or feel the need to qualify more. I could also see this working to out do an AMOG and make him look sloppy. I like it.

Octave, thank you for seeing the genius behind this. Ive tried it 30 times now on different people and I must say it works most of the time, getting her embarrassed. And as you said, when she feels like shit, shes more likely to try and qualify herself more to you, therefore effectively tipping the power balance in your favor.

no offense back, but I'm just saying it won't work on a girl with a sense of her value. Maybe on a chick who has self esteem issues.

This seems legit.. but what if she doesn't get the hint that you're trying to give her that she just spit on your face as she talked? I think it would be more of an awkward moment than necessary.. but it does seem like it has potential to be a solid neg.

This is bullshit.
Kidding. It's awesome.

Negs are not to be used like they're a full blown routine or story. They're small things in an interaction. It's not to make a girl qualify herself alot afterwards and the ones that do are crazy and have low self esteem. Most of the times you get a reaction, whether it be embarassement or a laugh. You get an EMOTIONAL REACTION. You can use this neg, in a funny way and get a girl to laugh and call you a jerk. Or you can say it seriously like it's no big deal and she feels embarassed. If done correctly, it gets a REACTION and not a negative reaction towards you as THEY are the ones who did something awkward. If she really DID spit on you by accident and you just wiped your face while making no big deal of it and SHE gets mad, guess what...she's crazy.

Hey, I like that one. It's just playing around really. Having a bit of fun with a girl. If it works for the dude then great, eh?

We've all been there and accidentally it has happened to us or you've done it to someone else and whenever I've done it I've been a bit embarrassed. I think there might be an emotional element involved when it happens as well, coz you are kinda "swapping spit" lol. Really though, if you don't react bad to it, unconsciously you are giving her an ioi aren't you?

You could pretend it went in your mouth and then said something along those lines like "hey, we've only just met and....".

If anyone's got a good line there please fill in the blanks, cocky-funny isn't my strength in pickup :-)

It's all in the delivery :-D

I like the neg, it is unique and worth doing bad timing though.
Let me explain. She is leaning into you, talking fast and giving you information... You have the value in the situation. She is doing what you want. You give her a negative reaction for it. What did she do after it. did she continue to lean in was she excited to talk to you ( which is what her speed means).
I am willing to bet she changed it all leaned back a little and talked a little slower. What this neg effectively did is say your interested in me stop it.
Now if she is actually spitting on you that a different story. Instead of telling her something bad if there is nothing there you should amp that up so she will do it more. IOI for ioi, IOD for IOD. She did nothing to show an IOD that I read.
Good job out there. Just trying to help

@theReal: What I found is that if I rub my face and give her a bewildered stare, she will get the message that she was talking too fast and accidentally spat on you. I guess it would work better if shes leaning right into you while talking.

@neo87: Hahaha exactly man. The whole idea of the neg was to get some sort of 'emotional reaction' (whatever it may be) so that you could work your way from there. It also puts her in a state of embarrassment since she did something wrong in accordance with social normalitys.

@Silver007A: Yea bro, its all just for fun. However, I see it as a way to gain some leverage on the woman if youre feeling somewhat intimidated by her (dealing with HB10 thats actively resisting you)

@MavenPhaseshift: Great description of the neg and thats exactly what happens. They get the message that we arent afraid to call them out on their mistakes, as most AFCs would just sit there and lap her up anyways, even if she did spit on him by accident. The neg demonstrates alpha behavior, I guess? :P
