This works best when performing a routine that requires the set to reply to a question or statement. If your target says something, simply turn to her and say, "You should really speak up more." Or something of the sort. Immediately continue with your routine. If you allow your target to reiterate her comment or question, you would be telegraphing interest, and too soon. It is not insulting because you are not directly saying "You mumble a lot." It is advice. You could also use this when she asks a question, perhaps to a story you are telling. I would recommend using this once per target, or else she might become offended. |

Yes, it's a good DLV technique. I've had it used on me before. Pretending not to hear a person or telling them they need to speak up louder. |
