I'm hoping we can compile a list of routines here designed to build intrigue. I've been using the spells routine a lot but would like some more material. For those of you that don't know the spells routine here it is. I like the one I heard in another post on here. I forget what it's called or I'd link it. This is how I'd tell it. Basically you tell the girl that you think you may have actually seen a real ghost recently. You tell her that you live in an old building from the 1920s. The other night you woke up and came out to the kitchen to get some water. (Mid way through you say "true story" in order to really sell it.) You look into the living room and see what looks like someone sitting upright on the couch. The thing is...you live alone. It was really dark in the room because it was late and the lights were off, but a little light was still coming in through the blinds from the street lamp outside. It was barely enough to make out the outline of the person but not much else. As you walked closer, it was almost as if the figure turned itself to look at you, then.....YAAAGHHH!!!! Your buddy/wing sneaks up from behind and grabs her and scares the shit out of her.
