| Post subject: | Help me finish a new routine |
I love our community. Some of the most talented salesmen are PUAs. When I'm not sarging,I'm selling. i actually teach people to sell. Divorced 5 years ago at 37 i found the community and it was a natural extension of sales skills already in use. Since then I've determined that there are more fresh ideas about sales and persuasion in the community than can be found in any business training seminar. So id like to give back. Albeit in a tiny way. So, I think this new routine should help me close deals and with adaptation HBs as well.I'm a big believer in the value of DHV & this one will ultimately DHV me/us to the hilt! Once completed and field tested it should also work in social environments where A unique big demonstrative DHV is required. But... I'm stuck and need the PUA communities help. Obviously we'll all get a new routine out of this but I'll get to use it on stage as well. The concept: get someone to give you the shoes off of their feet, for keeps. Then sell them their own shoes later. Can you imagine the conversations that follow a demonstration like this? Here's what I have so far.... Fun Demonstration: sell someone their own shoes......first "sell" someone that they need to "give" you their shoes. After getting them, change topics and move on later create a scenario where participant volunteers compete for a prize worth $100 or more. In this case my book or DVDs or a 1 on 1 coaching session, however the best way to win is to be wearing shoes. Maybe they need to kick something hard, crush a soda can the flattest, or walk across a floor covered in broken glass to claim prize. Then...sell them back their own shoes. Make sure that this is light hearted and fun, never embarrassing.(unless of course you are tooling an AMOG...I usually like to handle them more subtly) Finally, use it to teach a specific principle of sales. (To be determined) Ok so there are multiple layers of DHV here 1. Who the hell is so charming and persuasive that he can get a stranger to give up their shoes? 2. The value of my training is confirmed by the lengths someone will go to for a chance to have it 3. Who the hell will ever forget the guy who pulled this off? 4. If he can convince someone to give away their shoes and then buy them back, surely he can teach me sales and persuasion where do I sign? So my questions for you guys.. 1. How could you get the shoes in the first place and at the least have a tongue in cheek commitment that the shoes are now yours. Lets imagine a business environment and a pick up one. 2. How can I help the target save face and not feel tooled (assuming that's my desire)? 3.can it be done with something else? A pen. A tie. Any item that we know will be present that either they don't mind giving up or that they believe I won't really keep (like someone's shoes) Ok go! Excited to see what we come up with. |
