Post subject:  How to get an easy # close, and create attraction.
Ok, so this is a quite simple technique that almost doesn't require any practice. Only tried it at night-game though.

So after you've opened a set and built some basic rapport, tell them to take out their cell-phone.

"Ok, now I'm going to need your number, and I will send you a txt that you're not permitted to read until I say so."

She gives you her number and you send her a message saying "2 of hearts"

Do not let her read it, but have the phone infront of her, face down.

"So, imagine that I have an invisible deck of cards here. And I split it in two, red and black cards" Show with your hands which hand you have the different colors in, put your hands down in front of her and say. "Now, pick one of them. Red or Black" If she picks the hand with the black "cards" - pretend like you're placing it under her cell. If she picks the hand with the red "cards", still PUT THE BLACK ONES UNDER HER CELL.

Now this is the genious of it. No matter what she picks, you eliminate whatever floats your boat until you are left with 2 of Hearts, or whatever card you chose.

So here is the order of things, and the only thing you actually need to remember:

1. Split in colors
2. Split in categories (i.e. Hearts and Diamonds)
3. Split in Odds and Evens
4. Make her choose 4 of the remaining 6 (or 7) cards.
5. Split those 4 into 2 (i.e. you are left with 2, 4, 6 and Q. Split it in 2,4 and 6,Q)
6. Split the two cards, and you are left with the right one!

When you know how this works, it seems quite easy to spot through. But believe me, when they are constantly wondering about what that text says, and they're not sure whats going on, they won't.

I've field-tested it 5 times, one of them managed to spot through it, I blew it of with "Wow! I guess it's not true what they say about you, you're actually quite the smart one!" (met her at a party with common firends). The other ones fell completley for it. Works as a charm.

It does work great. I've used this routine myself a couple times. I think the trick is called magicians choice right? However if you haven't built comfort like you said asking for her number for the trick can sound a little weird. Well done!

I am so using this!! This is sick man! No sexist but I doubt many girls will figure it out! Nice stuff man!

I wanted to give a bit more insight on how the magicians choice gag works.

You dont arbitrarily ignore what they say and pick which ever you want, thats not giving enough illusion to the routine.

An example of what i mean is this,
You've already decided which hand youre going to use, in this case we'll say the right.

Ask for her hands and she sticks them out. You ask "are you right handed or left handed", she replies, right handed; you say "Great, dominance is what we're looking for" or something stupid to agree with her for selecting the one you've decided on.

If she says "left handed" use something like "well we dont want you to be able to cheat with your better side" or something else equally negating to go back to selecting the right.

Now this doesnt go EXACTLY with the routine if the cards are in your hands, but theres nothing stopping you from "placing the invisible cards into her hand". You still control the routine, it seems as if she did something, and if you dont fuck up, you still come out on top.

I hope this clears up some issues with magicians choice.

Well, some of the point here is that the "cards" are never in her hands. I just pretend to shove them under her phone. But if this is presented smoothly enough, there won't be a problem with her seeing through it.

Also, been thinking of adding a little something to it. Making her touch my hands to choose. Congratulations, free escalation and comfort building.
