When I went into starbucks today, there was this really cute girl behind the counter, she started to almost flirt with me, and I kind of did to, but then I had to go, so I said I'll see u later, then left, if i go back there, how do you get a number while ordering something, because I can't see how you can just stand there in line and start up a conversation with the person |

This is a bit harder than normal game, but there is a solution to this. We need to treat this girl as a "Hired Gun." In this situation, there is no time to DHV, Qualify, Escalate Kino, or have any meaningful conversations. You have to passively demonstrate higher value and that you're a fun person. Ideally, this is how it should be done: if she's working: Next time you go, walk in confidently, slightly peacocked (not too much; it is a coffee shop) with 2 or 3 friends (preferably all women; the more the better) and go order your coffee regularly with discreet flirting. Sit down with your friends where she can see you being very social and laid back with kino - take pictures, tell funny stories, make some noise (laughter; not too much). Hang out long enough until the place quiets down. When you're ready, make some eye contact, and immediately use an opener on her. Done. if she's NOT working: It's exactly the same procedure as above, but this time you game another coworker; male or female (doesn't matter), and throughout the conversation find out if they know the target. If they don't - forget 'em and come back when the target is working. If they do - make friends. How nice would it be to already know her coworker and for them to greet you as you walk in. Then they can introduce you to her. BIG DHV. Done. Now, this ideal situation may not be possible for you for many reasons, but learn what you can from it. Good Luck. |

Dude, you gotta read up on this stuff. Find and buy "The Venutian Arts Handbook" by Mystery It will cover everything. DHV - Demonstrate Higher Value |

I work in Starbucks, (people always say blah blah blah I work there so there, but serioulsy I do) We are trained before being allowed to speak to customers on how to enitiate conversation, enhance customer self esteem blah blah blah so that they think "hmm do I go to costa today? or starbucks, hmm well that guy from starbucks is really nice so I'll go there" BUT - we are also told, NEVER to aquire customers numbers, even if they leave you numbers on the napkins for you, you are to bin it straight away and if you are caught exchanging phone numbers due to till flirting, we will be given a dicsaplinary hearing. so I would say picking up in a starbucks won't be that easy, whether the staff member gives you IOIs or not! |

Good point demon. So this sounds like a good time to isolate. If the person isn't working or is taking a break, ask them if they'd like to go outside for a bit. If the outside area is discrete enough, then it's safe to number close. |

I like what Style said go to Macy's, and get a make over at the make counter. Because the girls never get a guy to make over. I work for Macy's and all but 2 of the make up girls are hot as hell in my store. Plus they are kind of a captive audience to work game on, far as I know its ok to get their number. |
