| Post subject: | DHV Stories I came up with - any good? |
I was wondering if these stories are any good for DHV. 1)I've used this before and it got an interested response from the girl (I've only used it once);I'm not sure if it does DHV or if it's too vulgar. "I split-up with my ex-girlfriend a while ago and when I was with her we had a pregnancy scare. Later I found out from her friend that she made it up to stay with me. I must have been doing something right for her to make it up." 2)Not used this one. "I was at work (in an office) and one of the male officers, John goes up to this new trainee assistant, Clare by the photocopier and says: so you're new here, maybe I could show you ropes and he starts rubbing her arm like this (kino) and my friend, Ruth says it's not right someone should say something. So I go up to him and say what are you doing you have a wife and kids. I thought he was going to hit me but he says yeah, you're right I should know better and he apologises to Clare." The second one might be too long but any thoughts? I also thought of a third one for people at school, college or uni. "There's a boy in my class (name) and I thought he was always really confident but he comes up to me and says he's really nervous about giving a presentation in front of the class. I said I would help him. I told him to relax, smile, make eye contact and maybe crack a joke at the start to make the audience comfortable. Anyway he tells this joke at the start "I'm (name) and I'm an alcoholic, sorry I forgot it's not Friday" (maybe you can add a better joke) and he gives the rest of presentation and it goes great and he gets the highest mark in the class, even higher than me". Might be too long and you'd need to add the name of your course and stuff but I thought it might help someone. I can't use it as I'm no longer in education. Thanks for reading. |

Right... The first one is the one that got most potential... However, I try to stay off the topic of breakups, it jinxes my game. Make it into som other occasion, like an Aprils fool or sth. Like: Get this. The wierdest thing happened to me last april, my former GF (still friends) almost gives me a heart-attack, after being together for just 4 months she tells me that she is pregnant. I panic, think Im too young for kids, Im just finishing off my (insert cool studies program here) and... you know, aargh! The funny thing is that my phone rings and its my bro. He tells me in a panicked voice that his GF just told him shes pregnant. We panic together and I hear on the phone that his GF is laughing her ass off just as I realize that MY GF is doing the same. After a few seconds (longest ones in my life) she tells me it is a joke and that they planned it together to see our reactions. Right now, me and my bro is trying to come up with something for next aprils fools day to get back at them. Any ideas? Second one. Nah, I guess youre going for the leader of men switch but I think that it needs to be kicked up a notch. It is a bit lame if you ask me and you need to hide the DHV spike better to not come off as bragging. Third, it would work if you are a natural speaker, just add some humor to it. Girls like funny embarassing stories so put in something like that. Ezo |

Ezoghoul: GREAT ONE. I think it would really help if you broke it down to show the DHV spikes in it. If I may add one alteration to it: Instead of 'I panic', I'd go for 'I try to keep it cool, you know, this is my girl so I'll handle it, I gotta look out for her' or something like that. Shows that you're the leader and protector of loved ones. blazer: no worries man, material always needs a polish. But you seem to have this idea that DHV stories have to be short - no! if you look at Mystery, some of his stories take up to 5 minutes. They flick a lot of attraction switches too, but point is: a DHV story doesn't have to be short. Other than that, good thread fellas! |

Good point, I was going for the subconsious girl signalling like (I like, whooow, yknow, just like that) but I thing telling them that you kept cool would work even better, thanks man! Ok here goes: Get this. I actually thought they had to be short to avoid boredom. I now know if the story is interesting and told right this isn't an issue. I also thought if it's kept short it avoids a lot of unnecessary detail. Thanks Ezoghoul I might use that story nex time I'm sarging.
