I'm 17 years old and I went to a teen club. It was just my buddy and I. We seen these 2 hot girls(HB10) and me and my buddy didn't ask them to dance what we did was just went by them and just danced around them the whole time. I had a small talk with her but you know how that is when your dancing and loud music at the same time. But I made her laugh and smile. But I still refused to ask her to dance just because there were a lot of guys that kept getting rejected by the 2 ladies. But we were having a good time dancing next to each other and it was just funny watching all the guys getting rejected. So I was at work today and I seen them and they were like "we know you from somewhere" and I said the club. and they just smiled and laughed and they took down my name and are gonna add me on facebook. It's always good to go to clubs with female friends.

*questions to be answered*
-Was it good for me not to dance with them and try to be like every guy?
-Could I of done something different?
if you guys have any advice for me in this situation please help.

1. Yes. Doing things which are against the social norm makes you feel stronger, makes you more aware of what is possible. In fact I would advise deliberately breaking social boundaries, doing shit like push-ups in public or going for a kiss in the first ten seconds, just so you know what it's like to be seen as a complete loser. It's not the end of the world. Once you have this unreactive quality, girls realise the different energy, the capability to be yourself and not give a fuck about what any douchebag at a club thinks (they're all insecure anyway). Someone I met once said they meditated in clubs. Why not? Who cares what anyone thinks, you hardly know them anyway. When you're 17, the social heirarchy is king. In Uni, that doesn't matter. At all. So ignore it, man, and the ladies will notice.

2. Of course you could have. The important thing is not to get hung up on whether you made mistakes, because that cements you into some expectation of how you're meant to behave, and that stops you from learning (social heirarchy is a bitch, man). So by all means, look at what you did and how she reacted, and learn from that. In this case it looks like she's interested, so hopefully you'll get in :P good luck
