Post subject:  getting a free drink
i learned something that con-artists do to others at the bar to get free drinks. you can try this to girls. but remember going to a Bar/Lounge wear a cowboy hat or a big hat.

now this is perfect if you see a group of girls. go up to them and say

You: hey girls do you want to play a game?
HB's: what is it? / Why?
You: its really fun, and if i lose i will buy you girl a drink, what do you say?
(Basically if they hear a "free Drink" they always go for it :D)

You: but if you lose you will buy me and my friends drinks.
HB's: ok..whats the game? / how do you play it?
You: its simple I'm going to order a tequila shot and I'm going to put it under my hat and with out touching the hat i will drink the tequila. sounds interesting?
HB's: yes!
(Funny thing is your not going to touch the hat but going to drink the tequila and get free drinks)
[when you get the tequila shot put it on the table and put your hat on the tequila and make sure its not a see through hat and make sure that the girls can't see it. take a pencil or a pen and tap it on your hat 3 times and tell the girls]

You: its empty, i'll have 4 beers now :)
HB's: OH COMEON! you didn't do anything!! its not EMPTY!!
You: take a look!

when they remove the hat they see its still full, then you take the shot!

and you say with a smile :)

You: I'll have my 4 beers now.


What do you guys think?

Then yeh you can pretty much use any Magic Trick then to get a free drink - if that is your intention.

This is really good, but how often do you go out wearing a hat?!
Unless you're out peacocking with a big sombrero or something, it'll be hard to go out in a hat - and pull it off well.

If you can manage this, bravo!

I do want to try this though! - I think I may just give it a shot in the local wetherspoons this afternoon, just a quiet environment... That's the plan!

doesn't have to be a BIG hat..just a hat that could cover the tequila shot.

and make sure the tequila is not touching the edges of the hat. because if they want to remove the hat it won't spill.

thats it. funny thing is the girls really think they would win But won't

Guys

i wear a cowboy hat like 2 times a month. i only do this to get free drinks for me and my friends.

I've tried the 5 question lie here in Toronto and a lot of HB's know this game and pretend they don't. i lost a lot of money just doing the "5 questions lie"

but the tequila hat routine works like a charm. after i taped my hat 3 times and told the girls that the tequila is empty i tell the bartender or the waiter that i'll have 4 beers and its going to be on their tab. this makes them pissed off and want to remove the hat or i tell them to remove it.

I pulled a trick on a girl the other night so I could talk to her. There was a playing card on the floor of the patio we were on so I bet this HB7 the colour of the card. I knew it was black and she bet red with the prize being a drink. She started laughing really hard when I won and offered some kino. Then she went and bought me a beer(the kind I was drinking), but just gave it to me and walked away. I felt sleazy...I don't ever want a girl to buy me a drink again, I just felt cheap. What kind of display is it to a girl? Does she see me as a sleaze or like a dominant?

just got ur message. if u do this trick with group of girls u r the dominant no matter what. . i only do this when im with group of friends. but sometimes i want the phone number and i get it, it depends how fun u r to those girls. if ur boring then yeah u wont get the number but u have to be interesting while u do this trick.

Forgot to post. Used the hat trick with a fedora 3 weeks ago on vacation in Ukraine. Was out on a beach with a girl at night for day 2 after SNLing her. Had a bottle of XO and shot glasses. Took off my hat and remembered your post. I just told her to close her eyes for exactly 1 second. She opened and I said "ok, take a look." Sent her to get some beer at a bar on the boardwalk while I went skinny dipping.

Very nice little trick.
