I met a girl through a friend of a friend about a month ago. The 3 of us went to dinner, and we had a great time. That night Lois (the girl) an HB8.5 requested my friendship on Facebook.

Earlier in the night, her and Hillary (our friend) invited me to a dinner even the next night. We had a good time, and there was some kino and escalation.

She is very old fashioned, I can tell. She told me she is close with her family, and cooks dinner for them. She is slightly religious, and would not eat meat at the restaurant (not kosher). When I invited her to a kegger the following night, she accepted, and said "I've never been to a kegger" She lives at home, and drives to school that is 45 minutes away.

At dinner, she was playful with me. She grabs my arm before I sit down, and says wash your hands before dinner. Then dries my hands with a towel. One joke she said at the dinner table was "I don't worry about my salary, FirstBase will support me!" Then puts her arm around me. She also kept putting food on my plate, and usually touched me when she did.

The kegger got cancelled by the way, so I never got to see her and make another date.

Three weeks has passed, and I have not talked to her since. I don't have her number, so no text game, only facebook. I invited her to my birthday party, but she has not responded, although 2 of her friends will be there.

I want to make sure she comes to my party (in a week and a half).
I just want to contact her through fb, and have a conversation. I think that this girl likes me, and she does not play games with guys.

Does anyone have an idea for a good opener on facebook. I would like to see her before my party, possibly. Or at least rekindle some rapport.

uhmm what I would do [might be afc] is to send a message as if you were sending it to everyone invited.

'hey, are you coming to my party? I need to know because im getting the supplies in 2 days and [insert your dhv shiznit]'

just the first thing that popped up.. ;o but should be good :P

To be fair, from what you've said there, what sounds like the best idea is just to start a conversation with her (although you probably should have done that sooner than 3 weeks ago). But no point dwelling on the past.

I'm not a massive fan of facebook game, try to move it off there to phoning as soon as possible, but in this instance you've got no choice. I would be careful about trying to make sure she comes to your party. It's going to come across as needy and obvious what you're doing.

I'd probably just send her a message or chat or whatever, and say something like "hey, not spoken to you since the kegger got cancelled, shame we missed that would have been a good night!" then just get into a normal conversation with her, don't worry about playing any particular lines or anything, doesn't sound like you'll need them. Then I'd probably just drop the party into the conversation naturally (if she asks what you're up to soon or whatever, just say "well I've got this party at mine coming up, you should definitely come along"), and if the opportunity doesn't arise, wait til you're leaving the conversation and say something like "right, I've got to get going. By the way I'm having a party at mine next week, you should come along"

I forgot to mention that I already invited her to the party. I sent out a facebook invite a week ago.

She has not responded yet. I am a little worried that if I send her a message on facebook, it will seem like I am trying to focus on making sure she comes to the party.
