I'm with a girl currently. We've been friends for 2 years, fooling around for a few months, and dating exclusively for about a month now. We love each other deeply, but I know that I'm not ready to settle down. She is. I have a bad habit of being a really good boyfriend. Not clingy, but nurturing her when she wants, I understand how to read her moods and adjust accordingly so that we never fight. I need to figure out a way to make her STOP loving me. She wouldn't be able to stand rejection by me, so I need HER to reject ME. Normally, this would be easy. Misread her moods, get in fights with her, be clingy, etc. The problem: this girl's known me for a while now, and it would be weird if I suddenly changed on her. Any other ideas? The easy way out is to tell her I'm gay. I'm bi, and she said once before that out of all the girls out there, she'd be the one girlfriend who'd be cool with it and would unerstand. But I would rather not use that out. If I lie to her and she finds out, she'd be devastated. Fuck that. Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance. |

break up with her, she can handle it, everyone will get over it eventually. or just tell her you don't want to make any big steps if you are wanting to stay together. |

Become a wallaby.... Clingy, needy, always calling her every couple of minutes, keep on asking her what is wrong, be jealous, Write her 'like' notes, never lead her, always ask her what she wants, never make a decision, lose your hygiene. Everything we tell everyone not to do. How do you change your patterns so she does not notice. Tell her you have never met a girl that makes you feel this way. Start slow, progress to the above within two weeks. You will see how quickly she losses interest. If none of this works (it should but wussies still get married) start becoming really jealous. Accuse her of cheating on you and wanting something else. Then tell her you do not want to see her anymore because you do not trust her........ |

Seriously, you cannot really plan to act bad enough to make her stop loving you! Can you? I think that is going to take so much bad behaviour that it will cause her more pain than you breaking up with her. Be a man and tell her the truth, show her that much respect! Sorry if I sound impolite but this is merely my opinion. Ezo |

I agree, just explain that although the relationship is great, it has run its course. You are not looking for something deeper and that is where you see it headed. Explain that this relationship for you was about enjoying the time you had together, but that you always assumed an ending to it. There are several problems with making her reject you, A) it may backfire and make her feel needed and make her love you more, B) it may piss her off and endanger your friendship, and C) if you act like a boyfriend that will get around and you essentially DLVing yourself |

I dated a girl for 2 yrs, and she wanted to get married. By this point we're living together, but just for the summer. About 2 weeks before she has to leave to go back to school, I say "Hey, maybe we need to take a break". I tell her that if after not talking for a month I still miss her, we'll get engaged, otherwise it really is time to explore other options. So on one hand she MAY be getting dumped (as in 99% getting dumped, but she doesn't know that), but she may also be getting engaged in a month. For this reason, she agrees to go along with it. After she's outta my fuckin hair, about 3 weeks later I call her and say i'm breaking it off. I say I don't need the entire month, and might as well get it done asap. All done. |
