Post subject:  valentines day jokes/game anyone?

I texted this to a bunch of people:

Hey everyone a little kid hit me with a tiny arrow. If you see him kick his ass for me. If he has candy take it.

Some thought it was cute. I know its not the best, perhaps someone has a much better one.

Or thoughts on valentines day game. Routines, etc.

I'm assuming you posted that on Facebook or something, right? I would say it's better to be offline on Valentine's Day as far as your Facebook friends are concerned. Let them think you're off doing something in the world, not trying to post cutesy statuses. I'm not trying to be negative, only trying to help. Hit girls up after Valentine's Day, they'll probably be more receptive, especially if their Valentine's Day didn't live up to their expectations.

Well I did get a pretty good response from the girls I know, using the cupid text above. The younger, hotter ones didn't respond. One of them was probably working and/or having sex. The other was probably neutral since we had texted a lot the night before.

I texted again to a woman I know "sorry I forgot about the time difference, hope I didn't wake you". (I sent my mass text at 10am and she is in Texas- she had responded with "sure"). She was like no you didnt wake me, but I want the rest of the story.

So I said well, I was walking down the pink candy aisle when I heard a box fall off the shelf behind me. Then I felt a sharp pain in my lower leg.

Her: haha

follow up text: I turned around but he left a trail of discounted candy and I was blocked by the resulting stampede...

Lesson here? I think girls take this valentine day stuff more serious than we do. To me, this was my tongue in cheek way of letting them know I was thinking of them. The one girl who I am in the most close relationship with seemed sad that I didnt bring her candy or flowers... Nevertheless a joke is probably better than not contacting them at all. Or is it?

By the way, I sent this to a few guy friends too. no response at all, but some of their numbers may have changed.
