well the difference is what these people are reffering to are dhv spikes, not actual dhv's, a dhv spike goes into a story, bragging is just qualifying yourself,

a dhv is a demonstration of higher value

you are seen talking to a girl, she is laughing, she kisses you on the cheek as you leave, or is trying noticably hard to get your attention, THIS IS A DHV

you are hanging out with a group of people, you say lets all go get some food, everyone goes and gets food, no questions asked, THIS IS A DHV

you are chilling with your friends, you get a phone call, your grandma died, you start crying, and drop to your knees, GRANDMA NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
THIS IS A DHV

you are hanging out with your buddies, one breaks off alone, all of a sudden a guy say, what are you looking at faggot?, so you walk up and punch that guy in the nose, he is all... you broke-ed-ded my nose, awww and cries and walks away, you protected your friend like a boss, THIS IS A DHV

now, you tell an awesome story that just happens to have moments where you dhv'd inside of the story, this is a cool story with dhv spikes in it, but demonstrating higher value is allways better then telling stories about how you did it, being a doer is much better then being a sayer,

and stories that are as simple as, I HAVE SEX WITH ALOT OF GIRLS, TRUE STORY, these are a DLV, I always stand up for my friends = DLV, I OWN 20 CARS GIRLS =DLV, don't tell her what you have, or what you own, or how many girls want to fuck you, or how your a leader, or any of that shit, DHV spikes should be subtlely placed into stories, not just openly directly bragged about, bragging is not attractive, but you can get a wing to do it for you and have it work fine

Dhv is sort of a new way of speaking if you think about it. Here's an example: normally guys say: "Oh I'm so famous, everyone know ME, I go on MY boat, I stay at the FINEST hotels and ALL the girls love me." Now you can Dhv and basically say the same thing but not actually use those words. Example: I was travelling to vegas and was staying at the Wynn hotel, when my friend called me and invited me to a get together but here's the thing it's on private location that you can only get to by a yatch. So I visited my Girlfriend to see if she wanted to go (at the time) I joined her when she was on set and blah blah blah." You get the picture - that's just an example not a literal story to use. But basically you demonstrated the sane thing in the above example without bragging. The whole idea is that you bring it in as if it's normal to you, which it should be - you shouldn't have to lie in Dhv. Best regards.

It's the motive. DHV comes off as you making small talk by telling the girls an interesting story about yourself. The "bragging" is subtle, implied and secondary. Bragging comes off as, well, bragging. There's nothing interesting here for the girls to absorb. It's direct and primary, making them react to it in a negative way.

How's this as a rule to make sure you never brag? Only tell stories that are true. When you create an interesting lifestyle for yourself, there will naturally be these DHV spikes that pumpington describes. The point of the story cannot be to say these points only, but to tell the entire tale.

NEVER BRAG Tell everything in a subbtle/indirect and fun way Remember the saying that a rich man doesn't have to say he's rich. His actions tell that for him.

Dhving is subtle. Bragging is trying to hard to get your point across like repeating the same lines over and over when people don't get it.
