Post subject:  Homelessness and Pickup.

This is another orig-I did it just as a gesture of kindness and realized it could also be used as a DHV.

If I'm ever out with a girl with a coffee or tea in my hand and see a homeless person, I'll do this:

See the homeless person and zone out for 2 seconds or so (noticeably). Once the HB has noticed, or even if she hasn't signaled that she has, I'll refocus my attention on her for about another 3 seconds (this all works best if she's talking, but can work really well if you're speaking too). After that three seconds, I'll politely/confidently interrupt the convo (best if you interrupt her), and I say something like "-hang on a second, wait here" (break eyecontact, also kino by putting my hand on hers or her shoulder or something that conveys a physically polite interruption. this way I don't compromise my alpha vibe by trying to verbally be super polite to dismiss myself like an AFC, but rather convey courtesy and comfort through kino.) as you get up to offer the homeless person your warm drink.
She'll be caught off guard, because this probably won't have happened to her often, and also she recognizes that she's not your center of attention (micro-neg).

IMPORTANT: while offering your warm drink to a homeless person-make sure to be very respectful. Instead of making someone destitute feel like they're at my mercy, I'll try and say something where they are the dominant figure, as opposed to me. It's a small but potentially tremendous comfort for someone in need. So I'll say something like "hey friend, I dont think I can finish this coffee, would you help me out? its really good."

Continuation from orig post^

Taking this attitude won't take away from your alpha-ness either because I'll already be out of earshot. and even if i am, it won't matter because the hb is going to be more focused on the actual action rather than the wording.

After handing over the drink, smile, and return to the hb and convo, act like nothing has just happened. She'll bring it up within the next few seconds.

I really really love this routine! not only are you dhving, but your also genuinely helping someone in need. How many other routines have you used that demonstrate your higher value and make you a humanitarian?

Cheers, Ali

*check out my posts for more orig routines by me.

I love it. Generally it would be interesting to do it and at the same time be respectful, i think this gives a knockout to your ego and shows that you are a nice human being.
Also it's a good practice against AA ,showing you are friendly and open-minded.
Good job, i will sure try this sometime :)

Question on giving homeless people hot drinks:

I've done this before and assumed that the guy wouldn't drink it because it might be a mug of anything. Instead, I gave it to him as a handwarmer. Will most homeless guys drink a mug of coffee if you offer it?

There's really no universal answer to that-in my experience most will accept it no problem. It helps too if you specify what it is, like by saying its coffee or hot tea or something.

Worst comes to worst, you come back with your drink still in hand. Your gesture of kindness still hasn't changed.

I wish i could see this guy out sometime. I bet hes one of those wankers that talks all the game and then runs away like a sissy. Hes just mad he cant get any and trying to make others feel bad. So this is how he gets attention, his mommy didnt love him enough. Those guys from my part of town end up leaving or eating a curb.

I really like the "routine", although I really hate to call it such..
I think that helping others that are less fortunate shows you have a good heart and if you demonstrate that humanitarianism with the strong alpha vibe then you're golden.

You don't see that many people helping the homeless nowadays..
And if you want to know where to pick up some serious "good" girls then I suggest volunteering at a homeless shelter, a soup kitchen, or a boys & girls club.
I mean gaming an HB in a club or bar is common, and a great place to find them. But you'll find a gem in one of these places.. Trust me.

And it makes you feel so damn good to be helping people that are down & out.. Kind of like "paying it forward". It builds you up, gives you PMA, and confidence. As it also helps to remind the ones less fortunate that there are people that do actually care in this world. Who knows, that smile, helping hand might snap someone back to reality and they may get their life together..

I was homeless for many years growing up. I was truly a lost soul. Drugs, alcohol, violence were my vices.. Somehow by the glory of God I rose from desolation, with a purpose. One that I am still trying to uncover..

One thing that I learned my friends is,
Do good, feel good.. Do bad, feel bad..

(although sometimes being bad does feel awfully good haha)

Try it out though, the volunteering thing, there can be some serious hotties there!
