Ok so obviously a LOT of HBs out there where at least a ring or two. i read some of the CR ring routines previously posted up on this section and came across an interesting [and very easy] magic trick which i thought could be used to stack with the ring CR while on the topic of rings.. After doing the simple ring-related CR [search for the other ring routine thread in this section] ask the HB if u can have a closer look at one of her rings and then while asking about the 'significance' of the ring [to keep her mind slightly occupied] go straight into the sleight of hand trick explained below in the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dK53NMpmjQ very easy to learn and extremely fun when u pull it off in front of a set. simple DHV to show her that ur not only interesting but fun too.. =] |

I've seen the trick before, but that video gives a much better explanation. That's cool to use. Have you done much with it in the field? |

thanx joven.. glad u liked it. and yeh i only learnt it the other day when i was browsing youtube [and i posted this up as soon as i finished watchin] so i havnt got an opportunity in th field yet cuz iv been pretty busy with assessments this whole week. but i tried it on my friend today and she was pretty stunned.. lol iv found its great to practice any routine on ppl u are comfortable with first cuz it doesnt really matter if u screw it up =] |

another thing u could do is while she staring at ur right hand, <-- the one she thinks the ring is in. Slip the ring in her pocket or purse with ur left, then show both hands empty....then just say thanks and leave. She'd probly come chase u down. |

yeah i did this twice. once the girl bought it. i opened with the "do you believe in magic" the next time. i failed. lol. i was a bit. tipsy. most of them are just like wtf? |

I used it too! Worked fine but you need to practice for some time before actualy getting it right. I almost lost my 400$ goldring practicing this on the bus. Ezo |
