By no means am I the expert on this forum, but given my past expirience and talking w/ some other guys about this topic. Flirting tends to come across like you're really interested in her, and signalling these IOI's too soon/too often can lower your value Cocky/Funny is sorta more like what an older brother would do to his little sister, its not malicious but its meant to make her laugh and sorta disqualify her initially, in return she will do more to get your attention.. again just like a little sister does to her older brother. When she does things for your attention and gives IOI's reward w/ an IOI, and when shes gives IOD, in return give IOD (ie. turning away from her slightly, or just an awkward silence for a second.) Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, this is just how distinguish flirting vs. c/f |

When you flirt you imply that you are interested in her, but with C/f you kinda make yourself too good for her. With cocky funny it has to be done right, as well timing you smile is crucial. If you dont you can just come across like an asshole. |

It's exactly the same, Even way before I was into PUA I was using a lot of C&F things, like taking something away just before a girl grabs it, it's technically just flirting for me. |

i think that both of them are quite the same but a little bit different. you can C&F if you meet a girl and you flirt if you are intersted in her. do you know what other differences b/w them? |

i think you said it right. c/f is flirty in a way but tends to use a lot of playful light negs (teasing like she's you're little sister). & in c/f you always communicate the fact that you can take her or leave her (you're indifferent about her staying, you're just playing around and having a good time). it's great for HB10 since you need to do everything you can to keep the sexual tension as high as possible. There's no strict definition for flirting. Push-pull, c/f, Kino escalation; all of these could be considered a type of "flirting". |
