hey, from the MM, i still cant get how to DHV. has anyone got any pointers??

DHVing (Demonstrating Higher Value) is basically showing your target or targets your worth. You are demonstrating to them, how much better you are then anyone else they meet. When I DHV to a target, I basically tell a story, something that is interesting and shows who I really am. I know some people have DHV stories that are completely made up and they lie about them. But you have to remember if the target is gonna be nothing more then a target it is alright to make up stories. If you are only going to see them 1-2 times, then go ahead and lie. Personally I don't lie when DHVing. It's just not me.

A DHV is anything that can show that you have higher Survival and Replication value.
DHVs can be attractive personality traits like being funny or being challenging.
DHVs can also be things that you can show off(though thats not the frame in which you do it mind you), things like magic tricks and Chick Crack (tarot cards, rune stones, plam reading, handwriting analysis etc.)
When you DHV and you neg properly then you'll create attraction and get IOIs.

i used to have a hard time with dhv'ing
but its easy once you understand it

you neg the target to bring down her value
then you just start acting like youre better than her (not in a mean way);
you just start acting like the coolest dude she has ever met in her life; by telling her stories that has little parts in it that will flip her attraction switches; or teaching her something (poof; instant attraction)
when she starts giving you IOI's you can now move into a3 (qualify her)

she WILL test you, to see if youre really a high-value guy; just ignore it; dont let it phase you; just remember that she should be the one trying to impress you
