Don't use the "we would never work" for that. Its for use when something shows that you're actually really alike. The rest is fine though. Just relax and use that yoga line, but act really aloof. Then you can say you were thinking about going to ____ and tell her she should come with you, or tag along or something like that that doesn't ask if she'll come, but tells her she should. Don't go to dinner and a movie, do go to a mall and get icecream or desert or something, but pay for your own stuff, unless you go for drinks, then you pay for one thing, her the other.
