| Post subject: | How to handle this online HB8 |
so I've been talking to this one girl online for around a month or so now. I got her number and our schedules conflicted a little bit but we were supposed to meet up this Wednesday. However when I texted her the day of she said she forget her mom made a "dentist appointment" at the same time. So I waited around half an hour to respond (I know I should've waited longer/should've replied then and there,) but I said something along the lines of it's easy to get out of a dentist appointment don't worry about it. So around an hour and a half or so passed and I got no reply and I texted her "so what's the deal with the dentist?" I know, it probably wasn't the greatest move but I wanted to see what was going on. She never replied and I went on with my date and talked to some more girls online and picked up another HB8's number. I obviously haven't texted her since she pretty much flaked on me but I woke up today to see a text from her at 2am saying "Im sooo srry i never txted u back." So now my question is should I a) blow this text off b) respond to this text later on in the day aka 12-3ish or c) text her some other day or d) delete her number? Just to clarify everything we were supposed to meet Wednesday afternoon and she texted me that on Friday morning at 2am. Do you guys think this is a waste of time at this point and her nterest value is low and she's just trying to string me along? |

Two Routes I would consider taking... First - ignore her - let her wonder if you are ever going to talk to her again. Don't fb her, email her, txt her, call her or anything. Eventually she may txt or message and ask what's wrong. If she does this, say nothing's wrong, you're just busy with work and school. Second - Text her back saying "It's all good. I had a great time at club XoX with my pals. It was amazing!" |

yeah, I was definitely thinking about going the second route. The first route is an option too but I haven't had too much success with that in the past.
