Hi everyone, new to the forums. pleasure to meet y'all
Two days ago I was feeling pretty good. I had this evening double booked with two very attractive woman, and based on my past experiences with these chicks I was reasonably sure that myself and whichever one of them I didn't flake on would end the night basking in mutual, post coital glow.
Option A). Met her through a website, very cute, young, charming, smart. Good company all in all. After walking around my neighborhood and drinking cider I pulled her back to my place where we made out/layed on each other and flirted. It should be noted that I intentionally DID NOT go for a full close, because trying to force that when you literally just met the person can often do more harm then good. I wanted this to be a sustainable thing... She said the usual stuff after we had made out for a bit (OMG we just met like two hours ago/I dont even know your last name, blah blah blah) but I think I handled it well and it didn't become a thing. I figured she would peg me for a player, so I made sure to ask her about her availability for the week on her way out so she knew I was for real. We set up something for tonight, she kissed me on the way out and pranced away. As I said, thought it was in the bag.
Here's where I think I fucked up. I wanted to cancel on her for today because I already canceled on the other girl (option b) this weekend. But since I hadn't heard anything from option a I wanted to get her talking and not just drop the flake bomb on her from out of the blue.
Stupid text #1 to option A (She was telling me how she had like 7 heads of lettuce at home and no idea what to do with them)
me: making any headway on that lettuce??
her: (no response)
Today, I sent option A another probing text just to gauge where her interest was at
(she and I were vibing on how our parents collect weird native art)
me: omg - my parents sent me a pic of the new African sculpture they just bought. Hard to tell but I think its 3 ppl having sex!
her: (no response)
What. the. hell.
This was so in the bag, did I really kill all that attraction with two texts which were not great but not TERRIBLE, they totally linked back to stuff we were vibing on. After two texts and tentative plans with zero contact the pendulum is swinging towards her so hard ANYTHING I do will be needy/gross/stupid.
Take a look gents. I should end this by saying that I'm not a pro, but I'm typically pretty well calibrated and usually get what I want. Well considered advice is most appreciated...
PS. option b just left. not quite what I wanted there either but its a totally different can of worms (shes a serial monogomistic ex)
