So last Holloween I met this girl:
We had a good conversation and I used my FB/# close on her and have gone back and forth with her several times on FB since.
I have never talked to her on the phone, only texted with her a few times, and haven't seen her since Holloween.
Last night I was bored and on FB and I sent her a quick FB chat message because she was on. I'll insert notes about my thought process behind things and such in (parenthesis).
NSM: Hey Wooley, whats up? (Wooley is a play on her last name. This was me giving her a nick name.)
HBPrincessWooley: Hey text me, my laptop is about to die.
Then in text:
NSM: You know they have wonderful new technologies called power cords that help with that. (Playful teasing...)
HBPrincessWooley: haha i know. they also make super comfy beds now too
NSM: I've got black silky sheets on mine to make it extra... comfy... (innuendo...)
HBPrincessWooley: well damn. ive got fleecey
NSM: Hmmm, yeah I like mine. Gotta keep it sexy you know.
HBPrincessWooley: haha oh yeah. such a sexy banana hahaha. youll forever be the banana man
NSM: We'll always have Wild Bills... But seriously, we should hang out again. Costumes optional this time. (Starting to work towards the day 2 with more innuendo, but subtler this time...)
HBPrincessWooley: im down i prolly wont look like a fairytale princess though lol
NSM: Don't we all wish we could look like fairy tale royalty everyday...

NSM: What are you doing tomorrow night? It's probably going to be my only free night this week. (I am a legitimately busy man at this point, but I would have said something like this regardless to put more value on my time.)
HBPrincessWooley: i have to nanny
NSM: Aww too bad. (ie: sucks for her, not me.)
NSM: We have friends coming in town this week, so if we hit up a club or throw a party I'll let you know. (ie: I'm doing you a favor by letting you into my awesome life.)
HBPrincessWooley: thatd be ballling
NSM: Unless you have any ideas? (I did this mostly as an interest check. Are you interested enough to come up with something for us to do together?)
HBPrincessWooley: nah. i suck at coming up with plans banana man lol
NSM: Well, your a girl, leading is a man's job.
Wait, are you a professional nanny? (Establishing that I am a man and I will take responsibility for things because of it. Then setting up qualification...)HBPrincessWooley: haha no sir.
NSM: OK good, cause I've had issues with nannys in the past. If your half as crazy as the one ex I had that was a nanny I need to divorce you right now. (Classic DQ routine)
NSM: I'm calling my lawyer so I get my half. Don't even think about the dog, you can keep the cat. (There was no response for a few minutes here and I figured she went to bed. But I wanted to end things on my terms so...)
NSM: Well Princess Wooly, I'm calling it a night. Sleep tight and dream of rainbows, unicorns, butterflys, and all that girly princess stuff!

NSM: You just woke up didn't you? (I had just woken up myself, but better to tease her than say that or even acknowledge what she said. If I wanted to I could have gone more sexual and said, "Nasty can be good sometimes.

NSM: No shit? Me too. I'm off today, and other than lunch plans I'm free. (Again, this was true, but even if it wasn't I wouldn't have told her I was free all day. And I'm starting to move towards a day 2, again.)

NSM: That's exciting. One thing I don't miss from college is homework. Hey what time are you baby sitting?
HBPrincessWooley: 7pm
NSM: Wanna hang for a little bit before you work tonight? (Going straight back for the day 2, but with no pressure.)
HBPrincessWooley: when and where?
NSM: What area of town do you live in?
HBPrincessWooley: you know XYZ area?
NSM: Yeah...
HBPrincessWooley: lol thats me
NSM: Hmmm... We could grab some sushi at the Shogun by the AMC, Or get ice cream at the Carvel, or you could come up to Pleasant Hill and we can hit up Saigon Cafe for some bubble tea. (Here I am doing a couple of key things. 1st, I am showing authority over her world. I am demonstrating that I know cool places to go by where she lives. Next, I am stepping up and making the plans because I am the man, but I am letting her have a say in it.)
HBPrincessWooley: bubble tea? whats that?
NSM: OK, we are going there then. Across from the mall (gave directions to Saigon). I'll meet you at 5. (Here I assume the close and assertively finalize the plans.)
HBPrincessWooley: lol, is it semi cheap? cause i dont get paid till monday.
NSM: Yeah it's cheap. It's one of the best cheap places I know actually... (I was tempted to go sexual here again, I could have said, "Oh so you like it cheap and easy huh? I know what kinda girl you are...")
HBPrincessWooley: haha okay cool cool
NSM: Cool, I'll see you then. Leave the princess dress at home Wooly! (When you give them a nick name, use it. It builds report and such...)

So I met with her at Saigon today just to have something to do. I didn't push for anything and kept things friendly due to the fact that I am in a committed relationship and I have integrity. It was just nice to be able to do this, setting it all up through text after only seeing her once 8 months ago.[/img]
